Star-studded cast has been lined up for the upcoming Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing Game

GameMill Entertainment has recently announced the upcoming release of “Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing,” a thrilling new addition to the popular kart-racing genre. With an array of iconic characters from Dreamworks Animation’s beloved franchises, this game promises to be a joyous and action-packed experience for players of all ages.

Kart racing games have long been a favorite among gamers, offering an exhilarating blend of fun, competition, and nostalgia. AMC in Disney Springs Decorated for the Release of the Haunted Mansion. Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.

AMC 24 at Disney Springs is spooktacularly decorated for the opening of Disney’s newest attraction to big screen adaptation “Haunted Mansion”

We had the great privilege of seeing the movie last night with the cast members who happen to work the ride here at Walt Disney World. If you ever want to experience a Disney moment, go really meta and watch a movie about a ride that these cast members work on. It was such a fun night of whooping, and cheering from the cast members who all seemed to know the small details and easter eggs hidden throughout the movie.

Rotten Tomatoes Score for Disney’s Haunted Mansion Out Now

The review embargo for Disney’s Haunted Mansion has lifted, and the critics have spoken. The Haunted Mansion has its first Rotten Tomatoes score and it’s a bit lower than expected. As of the date and time of this writing the Haunted Mansion is scoring a 46% with 92 ratings. There is no audience score as of yet, since the film opens tomorrow.

The critic consensus on the film is “Haunted Mansion‘s talented cast makes the movie a pleasant enough destination, although it’s neither scary nor funny enough to wholeheartedly recommend.” Haunted Mansion will have its work cut out for it this weekend, heading up against Barbie and Oppenheimer, two films that could carry considerable momentum into this weekend.

Haunted Mansion has assembled an all star cast including LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jared Leto. The film is directed by Justin Simien and written by Katie Dippold. Haunted Mansion is rated PG-13 for scary action and has a runtime of 2 hours 2 minutes.

A Brief History of Disney’s Haunted Mansion Attraction

The Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland has a fascinating history that spans several decades. It all began with Walt Disney’s vision for a spooky, yet entertaining attraction. The concept for the Haunted Mansion was first introduced in the late 1950s, and development continued through the 1960s.

However, due to technological limitations and the scope of the project, the ride’s construction was repeatedly delayed. It wasn’t until August 9, 1969, that the Haunted Mansion finally opened its doors to the public in New Orleans Square at Disneyland, becoming one of the park’s most iconic and beloved attractions.

The Haunted Mansion’s design evolved over the years, with contributions from several Imagineers, including Marc Davis and Claude Coats. Its distinct mix of eerie elements, intricate storytelling, and captivating special effects quickly made it a favorite among park-goers. Three Disneyland Restaurants to Start Serving Alcohol for the First Time

Three Disneyland restaurants will be serving alcohol for the first time starting this fall. Disneyland was historically a dry park until Oga’s Cantina opened with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in 2019. Blue Bayou also began offering select alcoholic beverages in 2021.

At the Disneyland Resort, Food & Beverage teams regularly introduce new seasonal food and beverage offerings throughout the year, and in tandem with new menu items resort-wide this fall, select table service restaurants will feature new beverage options beginning September 12 that enhance the culinary experience.

Following the introduction of select alcoholic beverage options at Blue Bayou, this update creates a consistent and enhanced Guest experience across these four Disneyland Park table service restaurants (Blue Bayou, Café Orleans, River Belle Terrace, & Carnation Café).

Each location will offer a small selection of beer and wine as well as the themed offerings below:

River Belle Terrace will launch a brunch offering, six new food items for lunch and dinner – including Roasted Summer Squash and a BBQ Burnt Ends Pasta – and a Wildberry Mule (alcoholic) and a Mississippi Mud Pie (non-alcoholic).
Café Orleans will bring back the Potato & Sausage Soup and introduce a Pimm’s Hurricane (alcoholic) and Bayou Punch (non-alcoholic).
Carnation Café will offer a new Veggie Skillet, Walt’s Chili-Cheese Omelet and Bloody Mary (alcoholic) and mimosa options with breakfast, a Peach Pie Margarita (alcoholic) and Orange Cream Soda (non-alcoholic) for other meal times.

These four locations are often chosen by Guests to celebrate special occasions, and Disney heard from Guests that they would appreciate the option of a special beverage to accompany their meal. At each location the drink options were thoughtfully sourced or designed to pair with and reflect the specific cuisine and inspiration of each table service restaurant.

There are no plans to introduce alcoholic beverages at quick service locations within Disneyland Park.

‘Fantasmic!’ Closed Through Spring 2024 at Disneyland

‘Fantasmic!’ remains closed at Disneyland and now we know it will be closed at least through Spring 2024.

The show closed back in April due to the iconic Maleficent dragon catching fire during the second nightly performance. The performance was canceled as the fire burned for several minutes. ‘Fantasmic!’ hasn’t returned since.

Disneyland announced today that the show will be on hiatus through at least spring of 2024. When the show does return, there will be a new climatic battle between Mickey and Maleficent, although the villain WILL NOT be in her dragon form.

The Disneyland website says, “With the goal of delivering the best possible show for our guests, performances of Fantasmic! are currently paused until Spring 2024.”

‘Fantasmic!’

‘Fantasmic!’ is a 27-minute nighttime show at Disneyland.

As darkness falls, dazzling special effects transform the Rivers of America into an epic canvas for this extravagant live show.

Fast asleep, Mickey dreams he is the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. With a wave of his hands, he conducts scenes from Fantasia across enormous screens of water while brilliant sparks burst overhead. Pink elephants, swashbuckling pirates, princesses and more—including memorable scenes from Disney classics such as Aladdin, The Lion King, Tangled and Pirates of the Caribbean—appear on and around the Rivers of America.

When Mickey is suddenly pulled into the Magic Mirror, his dream takes a dark turn. The Evil Queen from Snow White conjures up some of Disney’s most dastardly villains! Mickey must use the power of his imagination to vanquish his foes—and save the day.

Featuring a fantastical array of live performers, beloved Disney characters, enhanced special effects, state-of-the-art projections and superb pyrotechnics, this show will wow the entire family.

Today we were given a sneak peek inside the Muppets Brew Wing Lab at the Odyssey ahead of the opening of the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!

At the Muppets Brew Wing Lab at the Odyssey, guests will embark on a flavorful adventure, featuring the culinary creations – and madcap mishaps – of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker, from Muppet Labs!

Guests of Disneyland Paris now know when they can dine in the new Coco Restaurant coming soon to the theme park

Attention all Disney and Pixar fans! Get ready to embark on a magical culinary journey as Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia is set to open its doors on July 29 at Disneyland Paris! This new restaurant promises an enchanting experience as it draws inspiration from the heartwarming Pixar movie, “Coco.” Disney Imagineers, in collaboration with Disneyland Paris teams and Pixar Animation Studios, have worked tirelessly to immerse guests in the vibrant world of Miguel and his family’s heritage.

Here are five exciting and unique elements that you can look forward to discovering at this “Coco” inspired restaurant:

A Bronze Miguel

As you step onto the restaurant’s terrace, you’ll be greeted by a familiar face – Miguel, dressed in traditional mariachi charro attire, standing proudly as a life-size bronze statue. This heartwarming tribute sets the tone for the authentic Mexican experience that awaits inside. And to make your visit even more memorable, expect to hear familiar tunes, including those from traditional Mexican songs and the unforgettable “Remember Me” from the movie’s soundtrack.

Rich, Immersive Decorations

Upon entering the patio, look up to marvel at the colorful papel picados adorning the space. These intricate paper cutouts are inspired by a Mexican tradition and serve to introduce us to the rich history of the Rivera family, just like in the movie’s opening scene. The Imagineers have put their creative talents to work, crafting nearly 200 papel picados inspired by motifs found in Mexican folklore, music, and floral elements. Prepare to be transported to the heart of Mexico!

Alebrijes (Spirit Guides)

Another fascinating aspect of this restaurant is the inclusion of Alebrijes, spirit guides to the Land of the Dead, which significantly influenced both Pixar artists and Imagineers during the restaurant’s design process. You’ll encounter a magnificent carved and colorful alebrije, reminiscent of Dante, Miguel’s spirited companion from the movie, placed near the ordering counter. This delightful addition adds a touch of magic to your dining experience.

Strum Along with Hector

The heart and soul of Miguel’s rediscovered family heritage lie in la Sala de Música, where you’ll find an array of musical instruments. Among them, taking a place of honor, is Héctor’s white guitar with its gold and green hand-crafted details. For authenticity, Pixar shared their original references with Imagineers to ensure that no details were overlooked, preserving the essence of the movie in every corner of the restaurant.

A Tribute to Miguel’s Family

Step into la Sala de Familia to witness a heartfelt tribute to Miguel’s beloved family members. Portraits of these cherished individuals adorn the walls, honoring their memory and preserving their stories for generations to come. As the heart of the family trade, shoemaking takes center stage, with traditional woven fabrics, shoemaker’s tools, and shoe boxes displaying the family brand – a testament to the skill and craftsmanship passed down through generations from Mamá Imelda.
