Pixarโs Elemental Coming to Disney+ on September 13th
Disney+ has announced that Ember and Wade, characters from Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental,” will be coming to the streaming platform next week. The original feature film will be available for streaming on Disney+ starting Sept. 13. Alongside the film, viewers can also watch the making-of documentary “Good Chemistry: The Story of Elemental” and Pixar Animation Studios’ short film “Carl’s Date,” which features the beloved talking dog Dug. Be sure to check out a 15-second spot and key art celebrating the upcoming release of “Elemental.”
Additionally, it has been revealed that until September 20, both new and returning customers can subscribe to Disney+ Basic (with ads) for just $1.99 per month for three months by visiting www.disneyplus.com.
Opening in theaters this summer, Disney and Pixarโsย โElementalโ is among 2023โs top 10-grossing films worldwide, earning $480 million in the global box office. Ever the helpful friend, Dug steps in to calm Carlโs pre-date jitters and offer some tried-and-true tips for making friendsโif youโre a dog.ย The new short, which opened in front of โElementalโ in theaters on June 16, joins an existing collection of shorts, โDug Days,โ that follow the humorous misadventures of the lovable pup with the high-tech collar. โDug Daysโ is currently streaming on Disney+.

Breeze Airways Pausing Non-Stop Flights From Disney World to Disneyland
Breeze Airways began offering non-stop flights from Orlando, Florida to Santa Ana, California earlier this year. That service will be paused early next month and won’t resume until February 2024.
With Walt Disney World located in Orlando, and Disneyland located in Santa Ana, the direct flights were perfect for guests wanting to visit the Disney parks on both coasts. The service will be paused, in part due to Santa Ana’s John Wayne Airport requesting airlines to reduce flights until February 2024.
The final flight available on Breeze Airline’s site is October 3, 2023. The service between Orlando and Santa Ana will resume on February 14, 2024. The airline originally planned to pause this service on November 14, but the date got pushed up to early October.
Guests impacted by the pause will receive a full refund to the original form of payment within 7-10 business days. If you booked using BreezePoints, those will be credited back to the Guest account used to book the reservation.

Oogie Boogie Bash Returns in 2023 with New Villains and More
Oogie Boogie Bash, Disneyland Resortโs Halloween party, has returned with new villains and more spooky offerings! The after hours events runs on select nights now through October 31 at Disney California Adventure.
Oogie Boogie Bash transforms Disney California Adventure into a spooktacular haven for trick-or-treating, character encounters, a frightfully fun parade, magical photo opportunities, and so much more! The event is so popular, it is completely sold out.
Two new villains have arrived for Oogie Boogie Bash this year. Judge Doom from โWho Framed Roger Rabbitโ can be seen near Soarinโ Around the World.
Other rare characters that arenโt always out included Lotso from โToy Story 3โ, Bruno from โEncantoโ, and Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle dressed as the Sanderson sisters from โHocus Pocusโ.
If you head down the treat trails youโll get to see some other characters and villains. On the Grizzly River Run path youโll find Mother Gothel from โTangledโ. Sid from โToy Storyโ taunts the audience on Pixar Pier. Ernesto de la Cruz from โCocoโ serenades guests at Hyperion Theater courtyard. Agatha from โWanda Visionโ conjures spells in Avengers Campus. And Madam Mim from โThe Sword in the Stoneโ prepares for a wizardโs duel.
And donโt forget to stop by the Disney Animation building to see the eveningโs host, Oogie Boogie!
Villains Grove has returned to Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Special lighting and projections feature characters from โThe Hunchback of Notre Dameโ, โSleeping Beautyโ, โAlice in Wonderlandโ, โThe Lion Kingโ, โThe Princess and the Frogโ, and โBraveโ.
The Frightfully Fun Parade is just as it name declares! Itโs such a fun parade and definitely worth experiencing. The Headless Horseman leads the parade at a steady pace. Mickey and Minnie are dressed in their Halloween costumes at the front of the parade followed by floats and characters based on โThe Nightmare Before Christmasโ and โThe Haunted Mansionโ. A collection of favorite Disney villains gather on and near a decrepit castle.

This simple and creamy cheesecake variation is known as โTarta de Quesoโ in Spain or โGazta Tartaโ in its native Basque. A local specialty at the La Viรฑa Bar in San Sebastiรกn, the crustless Basque Cheesecake is baked at a high temperature, which leaves the outside firm and dark, while the center remains gooey.

Braised Pork Panceta al Pibil: Ajรญ amarillo-sweet plantain purรฉe, pickled peaches, and pipiรกn verde (New)
Chef Andres moved to the United States from Mexico City, Mexico, in 2006. At the time, he did not speak English and secured a role as a dishwasher, where he found a passion for being in the kitchen that inspired him to attend culinary school. After graduating, he was hired by Disney and has since worked on the culinary teams at Victoria & Albertโs, Enchanted Rose, and Cรญtricos. The Braised Pork Panceta al Pibil features Berkshire pork belly with Chef Andresโ play on a cochinita pibil โ a traditional Yucatec Mayan slow-roasted pork dish from the Yucatรกn Peninsula. This version features sour orange, annatto, pipiรกn verde, plantains, and the ajรญ amarillo pepper from Peru. It also incorporates corn, a traditional ingredient of the dish, through the corn ash garnish, and includes a nod to Florida with pickled Florida peaches. This dish was designed to perfectly pair with the La Rosa, La Piรฑa, y El Mezcal beverage crafted by Cรญtricos Proprietor Rafael.

Chef Enrique is of both Puerto Rican and Cuban descent, and roasted pork is a huge staple on both sides of his family as food is a big part of family gatherings in Hispanic cultures. One Sunday a month when Chef would have a family dinner, his uncle would allow him to taste everything that he made while he was preparing each item. Lechรณn Asado was always Chef Enriqueโs favorite dish. While his uncle prepared the rest of the meal, Chef would prep and cook the Lechรณn Asado. His uncle is who inspired him to become a chef, and he learned so much about his culture through him. In honor of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, Chef wanted to prepare the dish that really started it all for him. Although there are many more amazing Cuban dishes, the Lechรณn will always bring him back home.

Script for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is Really Weird However Disney Bought It
Craig Mazin recently sat down with the Los Angeles Times and told them that the script for “Pirates of the Caribbean 6” was “so weird he was surprised that Disney bought it.” Variety had reported that Disney was developing two Pirates films, one starring Margot Robbie and a sixth film in the franchise.
Mazin said, “We pitched it and thought thereโs no way theyโre buying it, itโs too weird. And they did! And then he wrote a fantastic script and the strike happened and everyoneโs waiting around.” Dead Men Tell No Tales arrived in theaters in 2017, so it has been quite some time since we have had a “Pirates” film from the Jerry Bruckheimer produced franchise.
The script for the film remains a mystery and rumors have been swirling about that Johnny Depp will return as Captain Jack Sparrow. As of May 2022, Bruckheimer when asked, “Will Johnny Depp be back?”, he replied, “Not at this point, The future is yet to be decided.โ
Writer Craig Mazin is currently working on The Last of Us, HBO’s Emmy nominated adaptation of the Playstation game. Disney would be eager to return to the Pirates franchise as the films have cultivated massive box office success for the studio. Every film in the franchise has earned more than 600 million at the international box office, with most entries topping the one billion dollar mark.

The franchise, produced by Walt Disney Pictures, is known for its charismatic lead character, Captain Jack Sparrow, portrayed by Johnny Depp. Here’s a brief synopsis of the main films in the series:
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003): The franchise begins with the introduction of Captain Jack Sparrow, a charming yet eccentric pirate, who teams up with Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) to rescue Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) from the cursed crew of the Black Pearl. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007): The final installment of the original trilogy sees Jack, Will, and Elizabeth joining forces with pirates from around the world to battle the East India Trading Company and Davy Jones in a massive showdown at the edge of the world. Complex alliances and personal vendettas drive the plot as the fate of pirates and the freedom of the seas hang in the balance.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011): Captain Jack Sparrow embarks on a quest to find the Fountain of Youth, but he’s not the only one seeking this mythical source of eternal life. He crosses paths with the infamous Blackbeard (Ian McShane) and a woman from his past, Angelica (Penรฉlope Cruz), in a race to reach the fountain first.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017): Jack Sparrow faces a new supernatural threat in the form of Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) and his cursed crew of ghostly pirates. Joined by a young astronomer, Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), and a determined sailor, Henry Turner (Brenton Thwaites), Jack must once again navigate treacherous waters to survive.
