Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is back for 2023

The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll has returned for this holiday season! Now through December 30, 2023, guests visiting the shopping district can discover elaborately themed Christmas trees. We visited recently and checked out quite a few of the trees and other festive flora.

If you’d like to experience the Christmas Tree Stroll, pick up a complimentary map highlighting the location of each sparkling Christmas tree. Then, be on the lookout for beautifully decorated Christmas trees as you explore Disney Springs. As you discover each tree, match the corresponding sticker to the location on your map.

Once you’ve found them all, take your map to one of the map pickup locations for a special surprise! You can pick up a map at the following locations:

City Works Eatery & Pour House
Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers
Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company
The LEGO Store
Planet Hollywood

The trees feature all kinds of themes and decorations! Above is the Annual Passholder tree, Disney Vacation Club tree, Town Center tree, and Disney+ tree.

There are also trees themed to some of our favorite Disney movies and park attractions! Take a look at the gorgeous Coco tree, enchanting Encanto tree, beautiful Frozen tree, awesome Guardians of the Galaxy tree, and frightfully fun Haunted Mansion tree.

Other trees in Disney Springs are themed to classic Disney movies, Pixar films, and even the newest animated movie coming later this month! We saw The Lion King tree, Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse tree, Moana tree, The Nightmare Before Christmas tree, Princess & the Frog tree, Toy Story Tree, and the new Wish tree.

In celebration of the new Disney Cruise Line ship coming next year you can also see a topiary of the Disney Treasure!

To add some extra magic to this year’s Christmas Tree Stroll, some trees interact with MagicBand+.

Enjoy a jolly sight at The Nightmare Before Christmas tree. Simply make a circular gesture near the tree to experience the magic.

Snow is Expected in Downtown Disney for the Holiday Season

For the first time ever, snow is going to fall in Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort this holiday season! Along with holiday shopping, dining, and entertainment, guests can enjoy a magical, seasonal experience.

With a bit of Disney magic, “snow” is scheduled to fall every night in select areas of the Disneyland Park. “Snow” is also scheduled to fall in the Downtown Disney District nightly every half hour from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. between Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio and Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes starting Nov. 24 through Dec. 31.

In addition to holiday shopping and dining in the Downtown Disney District, guests can groove to a variety of “mistle-toe-tapping” live musical performances on select evenings. On some nights at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland Hotel, live entertainment, including handbell and holiday carolers, creates a wonderfully cozy atmosphere.

The holidays haven’t just arrived at the Disney theme parks. Guests can celebrate Christmas on the high seas as well! Disney Cruise Line is offering some specialty holiday popcorn buckets, stateroom decor, and more to help get guests into the holiday spirit!

Two new holiday popcorn buckets are available on select sailings this holiday season! The Gold Musical Rotating Tin and the Mickey Mouse Toy Soldier Bucket are both available to guests at Preludes onboard.

Wanting to add some holiday decor to your stateroom? Disney has you covered! The Season’s Greetings room decor is $118 and includes:

“This merry room decor gift set includes a “Goofy on deck” bendable plush, a cozy holiday blanket with some of your favorite Disney pals, a Mickey Mouse-shaped pillow with a sewn-in advent calendar (includes a stick to mark the date), 2 felt ceiling banners with removable felt ornaments and a handy storage bin.”

Disney Cruise Line also offers two Christmas tree options for your stateroom: Christmas Tree and Disney Cruise Line Nautical Christmas Tree. The regular Christmas tree is 21″ tall, adorned with white mums, red berries, mini-carnations and a snowflake topper, and is $145. The Nautical Christmas tree is 21″ tall, adorned with white mums, red berries, mini-carnations, a snowflake topper and some seafaring Disney characters, and is $160.

Holiday Decorations are Now Up in Disney Springs

The holiday season is in full swing at Walt Disney World and now holiday decorations have arrived at Disney Springs! The shopping, dining, and entertainment district is all decked out for the joyous season.

During our recent visit to Disney Springs we noticed garland and wreaths now adorn the exteriors of the shops. Most are decorated with bows, lights, and ornaments as well.

There are also some festive additions to fountains and planters in the area. A Santa Mickey topiary can be seen as part of a fountain display and near Paddlefish we saw reindeer seemingly made out of giant peanuts.

Some of the restaurants are decked out as well. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar has become Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar for the special season. The exterior of the bar has also been festooned with Christmas wreaths and garlands.

First Look at Disney Jollywood Nights Park Map

Tonight is the first night of Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We are on site to experience all of the festive offerings. But first, let’s look at the party park map!

The map is blue with the Hollywood Tower Hotel on the front and the name of the event, “Disney Jollywood Nights 2023”. Inside the map you’ll find all of the information for the event. Entertainment offerings and showtimes, specialty dining, character greetings, and more are listed.

Once the map is fully opened, you’ll see a layout of the park with all of the attractions open during the party. The map is also marked with event highlights.

The back of the map features an image of a gingerbread man and a story about him. The story says, “There once was a cookie named Ollie, who made his way west on a trolley, with oven-baked gleam, he followed his dream, and made all of Tinseltown jolly.”

The trailer for Inside Out 2 sees biggest launch in Disney history

Great news Joy and Sadness fans: Disney and Pixar have unveiled a sneak peek of the highly-anticipated Inside Out sequel, ‘Inside Out 2.’ The first glimpse of the follow-up to the 2015 animated hit has shattered records, making it the most significant animated trailer launch in Disney’s storied history.

Within 24 hours of its release, the trailer, which invites viewers back into the roller coaster of emotions within teenage Riley’s mind, clocked a staggering 157 million views. This astonishing feat dethrones the previous record holder, ‘Frozen 2,’ which held Disney’s top spot since 2019. ‘Inside Out 2’ has also racked up 78 million views in TikTok in just 1 day. Disney has launched a first of its kind TikTok content hub in commemoration of Disney’s 100th anniversary celebration.

Pete Docter, Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer, expressed his elation at the overwhelming response, saying, “We are thrilled so many people have tuned in to check out the new trailer for Inside Out 2.” He acknowledged the film’s unique concept, stating that when the original ‘Inside Out’ was conceived, the creators knew they had tapped into a wellspring of possibilities. “There would be so much more to explore than we could possibly fit into one film,” Docter noted.

One undeniable factor contributing to the trailer’s immense popularity is the introduction of a new character, Anxiety. Voiced by Maya Hawke, this frazzled yet endearing orange emotion joins a star-studded cast, including Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust.

‘Inside Out 2’ is slated to hit theaters exclusively on June 14, 2024.

Universal Orlando is decked out for the Holidays

The Holiday decorations are up at Universal Orlando Resort!

Universal Orlando Resort provides immersive theming throughout both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. The resort always takes the theming up a notch during the holiday season-and we have your first look at the holiday decorations at Universal Orlando ready to share!

The Five & Dime is just one of the many stores along the Hollywood backlot area of Universal Studios Florida that is decorated for the holidays.

Mel’s Drive-In looks GREAT with both the Holiday decorations up and the vintage cars back at the restaurant!

The New York section of Universal Studios is also decorated for the holidays. In a bit of a holiday mash-up, the Halloween Tribute Store is still in place in the pic above with Christmas decorations around the exterior.

Moving back toward Diagon Alley, this section of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is again well appointed for the holiday season.

Hopping over to Islands of Adventure, Hogsmeade is also decorated for Christmas, with the snow capped buildings in this area providing an extra bit of holiday magic.

Universal Orlando Holiday Tribute Store is Now Open

The Holiday Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida is Now Open!

Great news fellow Universal Orlando fans-the Holiday Tribute Store is now open! We managed to snag a ton of pics during the store’s Annual Passholder preview, and have them ready to share with you!

The Holiday Tribute Store features a unique post office theme, with each room designed to resemble different post office sections.

The first room after the lobby features a super fun Harry Potter theme, and is packed with Harry Potter goods. Fans of the books will recognize the theme for this room as The Owlery, the room on top of the west tower of Hogwart’s where the Owl’s stay when not out and about delivering letters.

We snagged a video that shows The Owlery in all its glory.

Moving through the store we encounter a TON of The Grinch merch; this section of the store will defiantely appeal to the Grinch and Dr Suess fan in your family!

The Grinch/Whoville area is also home to an array of snacks themed to the store.

Beginning today for a limited time, guests may encounter Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan and Captain Monica Rambeau as they make a high-spirited entrance together in Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park to recruit the next generation of Super Heroes.

With Super Heroes from across the universe continuing to arrive at Avengers Campus, recruits never know who else they may run into.

There’s also a new Magic Shot available! Thanks to the incredible technology available in Avengers Campus, recruits can now simulate the powers of The Marvels! Starting today, find out which cosmic power suits you best with the Cosmic Entanglement Disney PhotoPass Lens, available with the purchase of Disney Genie+ service.
