There’s been a recent shake-up at Steakhouse 71, the sleek eatery nestled within Disney’s Contemporary Resort, that may leave diner a bit bummed. One breakfast staple, the beloved refillable mimosa, has sadly flown the coop.

For those who enjoyed kicking off their park day with a refreshing mimosa or two alongside their Mickey waffles, this news might sting a bit. The refillable mimosa was a popular choice, offering a cost-effective way to enjoy some bubbly cheer throughout the morning.

While the official reason for the mimosa’s departure remains under wraps, it does leave us wondering what breakfast libations might fill the void. Perhaps Steakhouse 71 will introduce a selection of individual mimosas featuring different sparkling wine and juice combinations. Maybe they’ll expand their “Wake Up Call” menu, currently offering specialty cocktails like the “Steakhouse Bloody Mary.”

Here’s what we know for sure:

Refillable mimosas are no longer available on the Steakhouse 71 breakfast menu.
You can still enjoy a variety of breakfast options, from classic dishes like pancakes to more unique offerings like steak and eggs.

Get ready for a dose of cuteness overload! Disney’s Animal Kingdom has welcomed a brand new addition to its incredible animal family – an adorable Abdim’s stork chick!

The exciting news was shared by Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President of Disney’s Animals, Science, and Environment. This little chick recently hatched and can now be spotted in DinoLand U.S.A., ready to steal your heart.

Abdim’s storks are known for their impressive nests, which they meticulously build using sticks on rocky terrain. Adult Abdim’s storks are easily recognizable by their striking appearance: sleek black feathers, a bright blue face, and a distinctive red patch near each eye.

Keep your eyes peeled for this fuzzy chick as you explore DinoLand U.S.A. This little one is sure to be a favorite among park guests, and a wonderful reminder of Disney’s dedication to animal conservation.

Disney Genie+ Sells Out Today while Universal Express Pass Hits Over $300

It’s a busy day at Walt Disney World, and for those hoping to skip the lines with Disney Genie+, you’re out of luck! The multi-park Genie+ option is completely sold out today, the Friday before Easter.

For guests who weren’t able to snag the multi-park option, individual park Genie+ is still available for purchase at these prices:

Magic Kingdom: $39
EPCOT: $32
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $35
Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $29

It seems $39 is the current ceiling for Genie+ pricing, as all single-park options fall beneath that mark. With Genie+ only available for day-of purchase currently, we’ll have to wait and see what pricing and availability look like for the rest of the busy spring break weekend.

Over at Universal Orlando Resort, Express Pass prices are also feeling the heat of the spring break crowds. A single day of the 2-Park Express Pass currently costs:

Get ready for some tail-wagging fun with Bluey! Australia’s favorite dog is back with two brand new episodes hitting Disney+ in April.

First up, on April 7th, is a standard-length episode titled “Ghostbasket.” This episode features the much-loved return of Bluey and Bingo playing the roles of their Grannies, Janet and Rita. Get ready for some classic Heeler family shenanigans! But the real treat arrives on April 14th with “The Sign,” the longest episode of Bluey ever made! This extended special promises to be a must-watch for fans.

Created by Joe Brumm, Bluey follows the adventures of a six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy and her little sister Bingo. Bluey’s boundless energy and imagination transform everyday moments into hilarious games that involve the whole family and neighborhood.

Both “Ghostbasket” and “The Sign” will air first on ABC Kids in Australia before rolling out globally on Disney+, Disney Junior, and Disney Channel on April 7th and 14th respectively (with the exception of China and New Zealand).

Disney Bundle subscribers can now watch Hulu on Disney+! Disney is celebrating the launch of Hulu on Disney+ with some limited time experiences at both Disney Springs in Walt Disney World and Downtown Disney in Disneyland.

Now through April 10, Disney+ is offering guests the opportunity to enter the world of Hulu on Disney+ at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort. Located near the AMC movie theater and Orange garage, the new experience allows guests to feel like they are part of the fun of shows like “Abbott Elementary,” “The Golden Girls” and “Futurama.”

Head back into the classroom at William R. Abbott Elementary, gather friends around the kitchen table and get ready to dish with the Girls or join the crew for a meeting at the Planet Express headquarters. And every guest who completes a quick survey after visiting the experience will be entered for a chance to win a Disney+ gift card with a value of $100!

Downtown Disney District

Guests visiting Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort are invited to join the “Hulu on Disney+ Celebration” today and tomorrow as well as on Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2. Head over to the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage for nightly live bands or DJs and three photo backdrop opportunities to step into the stories of “Abbott Elementary,” “The Golden Girls” and “Futurama.” While there, enjoy some classic games near the lawn including cornhole, tic tac toe and more. New Disney Celebration Hotel Tote Bags Available for Guests Staying at Resort

Guests staying at Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel starting June 1, 2024, can enjoy complimentary tote bags! Reservations can be made starting April 8, 2024.

The tote bag comes with a shuttle bus-shaped pouch. The design of the tote bag is studded with motifs that decorate the interior and guest rooms of the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel.

The bags have different designs on both sides. The one pictured above is pink and features Minnie Mouse on one side and is blue with Mickey Mouse on the other.

There is another color option as well. One side is yellow and features Mickey while the other side is purple and features Minnie. Both bags come with the shuttle bus shaped pouch.

The pouch is inspired by the “Wish & Discover Shuttle” shuttle bus that connects the park and the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel. You can attach it to your original tote bag and carry it around.

The bags will be given to guests staying in the “Wish” and “Discover” rooms. On the day of your stay, you’ll receive two original tote bags and two original pouches in your room for each room per night before check-in.

Disney Treasure Undergoing Next Phase of Construction

We have another update on Disney Cruise Line’s next ship, Disney Treasure! The Disney Treasure’s story began with the start of construction in January of 2023 and has continued to evolve ever since.

A few weeks ago, Meyer Werft Shipyard was bustling with activity when the Disney Treasure was set afloat for the first time. Water from the Ems River was pumped into the building dock where the ship is being constructed, lifting the hull from the floor of the chamber. The shipyard team was then able to guide the Disney Treasure to a new location, where it will undergo the next phase of construction.

Why was the Disney Treasure moved? The team needed to make room for the Disney Destiny, the sister ship to the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure! This milestone is an exciting moment for everyone at Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering, signifying continued progress on the Disney Treasure and celebrating the ongoing expansion of the fleet. The Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny will soon be next to each other in the shipyard, marking an unprecedented era of growth for Disney Cruise Line.

Welcome to Arendelle! Get ready to build a snowman because Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf the beloved snowman from Disney’s “Frozen”, is having a blast at the new World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland!

This week, Gad shared a collection of photos on his social media, giving fans a glimpse into the magical new land. One picture shows a grinning Gad with the stunning recreation of Arendelle, the kingdom from “Frozen,” as a backdrop. Other photos showcased the thrilling Frozen Ever After rollercoaster and the majestic replica of Anna and Elsa’s castle.

World of Frozen, unveiled in November 2023, is a dream come true for any “Frozen” fanatic. It features not just the two exciting rides – Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs – but also themed restaurants and shops, and even a theatrical experience with everyone’s favorite royal sisters, Anna and Elsa.
