Princess Cruises and Brightline Unveil New ‘Rail & Sail’ Program
Princess Cruises, a renowned name in the world of cruising, has teamed up with Brightline, Florida’s intercity rail service known for its speed and convenience. Together, they’re launching the innovative “Rail & Sail” program, designed to streamline the travel experience for Princess cruise guests departing from popular Florida ports – Fort Lauderdale and Orlando (Port Canaveral).
The “Rail & Sail” program promises effortless travel in luxurious comfort. It significantly reduces travel time to the cruise port compared to traditional driving methods.
This exciting announcement also features a specially designed train with four cars adorned in Princess’ instantly recognizable Love Boat branding, showcasing the Seawitch logo and beloved destinations. Princess branding will also grace Brightline’s five Florida terminals.
Guests can further enhance their experience with a value-added luggage express service. Simply check your bags at the Brightline station, and they’ll magically appear in your stateroom upon arrival – the ultimate convenience!
Princess guests enjoy exclusive discounts of up to 15% when booking Smart and Premium Rail & Sail packages through Brightline’s website. For a limited time, guests who book a Princess cruise before May 5th receive Brightline credits of up to $150 per person – use it towards the signature Smart and Premium class service, based on your stateroom type.

Princess guests will have access to Brightline’s full schedule of convenient trains departing daily with 16 round-trip transits between Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. Options include:
Southbound from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale (with stops at West Palm Beach and Boca Raton)
Northbound from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando (with stops at Boca Raton and West Palm Beach)
South Florida residents can also take Brightline from its downtown Miami and Aventura terminals with stops in Fort Lauderdale or Orlando.
Princess will also provide guests with complimentary motorcoach service between Brightline’s Orlando and Fort Lauderdale stations and their embarkation terminal.
Special Discount Offer, Convenient Luggage Express Service
With the convenient new luggage express service guests can check their bags upon arrival at their Brightline station and their luggage will be automatically delivered to their stateroom, making their cruise experience seamless and hassle-free and saving valuable time and effort. The cost is $35 per bag. Luggage express will be initially available on Orlando-to-Fort Lauderdale trains with plans to add the service to Fort Lauderdale-to-Orlando trains ahead of Caribbean Princess’ arrival and homeport at Port Canaveral in November.
For a limited time only, Princess guests who book a cruise through May 5 will receive a credit that can be used toward Brightline’s signature Premium and Smart class:
Interior/Oceanview stateroom – $50 per person Brightline credit
Balcony/Deluxe stateroom – $100 per person Brightline credit
Mini-Suite/Suite – $150 per person Brightline credit
Brightline’s Smart service includes hand-stitched leather seats, complimentary WiFi and multiple power and USB connections at each seat while Premium service adds complimentary snacks and beverages and access to a Premium Lounge.
Love Boat Sailings from Fort Lauderdale, Space Coast
Fort Lauderdale: Princess is one of Port Everglades’ largest cruise operators with seven ships – nearly half its fleet – sailing from Fort Lauderdale. Voyages include week-long getaways to the Caribbean to longer length 10- to 20-day cruises offering guests a chance to explore a host of tropical island destinations, including through the Panama Canal.
Port Canaveral: Caribbean Princess will inaugurate Love Boat cruises from Port Canaveral November 27, 2024, with a series of four- to 14-day sailings visiting some of the western Caribbean’s most picturesque locales, including Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Thomas, San Juan, Belize, Amber Cove (Dominican Republic) and Mahogany Bay (Isla Roatan). The program runs through April 2025.

Did you know there are Disney pins that are exclusive for cast member trading for a limited time? It’s true! Eagle-eyed guests may find pins from new Hidden Disney pin sets while trading across Walt Disney World. Each set contains five standard and uniquely themed designs.
Later this year, a retail mystery pouch will be available with the original five pins, plus a sixth pin in each set — known as a “chaser” pin. For those who love an even bigger challenge, within the retail mystery pouch there will be a NEW element this year with the introduction of a “super chaser” pin in one particular set — an even rarer find!

Te’Lario Watkins II, a 16-year-old from Blacklick, Ohio, thought he was doing a media interview during Disney Dreamers Academy. But then, Daymond John showed up with an incredible offer: a personal invitation to be on the set of “Shark Tank” in Los Angeles! This was a dream come true for Watkins, who has been running his own gourmet mushroom business, Tiger Mushroom Farms, since he was just 7 years old. He even founded a non-profit, the Garden Club Project, to tackle food insecurity in his community.
John is one of many celebrities participating in Disney Dreamers Academy, a mentoring program at Walt Disney World. The program, which ran through Sunday, features inspirational figures like Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross, actor Lance Gross, and Disney actress Dara Renee, who share their knowledge and experiences with aspiring young minds.
This is the 17th year of Disney Dreamers Academy, a five-day event designed to broaden career awareness and create opportunities for 100 Black high school students and teens from underrepresented communities across America.

Walt Disney World Drawstring Bag Available At Magic Kingdom!
We spotted this Walt Disney World Drawstring Bag at Magic Kingdom for $24.99. What caught our eye was the fact that this bag still features Br’er Rabbit! With the change from Splash Mountain to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, finding this fun character is going to be rare, so if you want something that still shows him, hurry up and get it before everything gets updated to the new attraction.
The bag is a beautiful soothing blue color with Cinderella Castle and a variety of Disney characters in front of it like Genie, Mulan, Jasmine, Aladdin, Aurora, Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Daisy, Donald, Pluto, Cinderella, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Alice, Grumpy, Jiminy Cricket plus characters from Pirates of the Caribbean, It’s a Small World, Splash Mountain and Haunted Mansion!

We have some GREAT news for all of you planning an April trip to Walt Disney World. Walt Disney World is serving up a heaping helping of magical memories with extended park hours in THREE of the Walt Disney World theme parks!
From April 21st through 27th, three of your favorite parks – Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom – are staying open later, giving you more time to conquer rides, experience dazzling shows, and create unforgettable moments with your loved ones.
Here’s the scoop on the extended hours:
Magic Kingdom:
Previously scheduled for 9 am to 9 pm, the park will now open at 8 am on Friday, April 26th, and Saturday, April 27th.
Get ready for extended nights too! The park will close at 11 pm on April 21st, 26th, and 27th, and at 10 pm from April 22nd to 24th.
Calling all resort guests! Don’t miss the exclusive extended evening hours on April 24th, from 10 pm to midnight.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios:
Originally scheduled to close at 9 pm daily, the park will keep the lights on a bit longer, staying open until 9:30 pm on Sunday, April 21st, and all the way to 10 pm on April 25th, 26th, and 27th.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom:
Calling all animal adventurers! Your exploration time just got extended. Originally planned to operate from 9 am to 6 pm, the park will now open at 8 am daily during this magical time.
Get ready for extended evenings on April 21st, 26th, and 27th, where the park will close at 7 pm instead.
EPCOT maintains its regular hours, opening at 10 am on Sunday, April 21st, and at 9 am every other day of the week, closing at 9 pm daily. Don’t forget, early theme park entry for Disney Resort hotel guests continues throughout this period, allowing them to enter the park 30 minutes before regular park opening.
