This limited-edition treat is a delightful homage to our favorite blue experiment, Stitch. Imagine this: a light and fluffy vanilla chiffon cake, perfectly paired with a tropical twist of coconut buttercream. And to top it all off, a sprinkle of mango crisp pearls adds a delightful burst of texture and flavor. It’s a flavor explosion waiting to happen!

This delectable dessert is a Passholder exclusive, available only at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT during V.I. Pas holder Days. So, what are you waiting for? Gather your fellow Passholder pals and prepare to indulge in a treat that’s as adorable as Stitch himself!

Here’s a quick rundown before you embark on your delicious adventure:

Fuel Up for Your EPCOT Expedition: To enter EPCOT, you’ll need a valid park admission and reservation (unless it’s a good-to-go day for the park, or after 2 PM). Remember, reservations are limited, so plan accordingly!
Show Your Pass and Prepare for Takeoff: When you’re ready to snag your Stitch Cake Cone, be sure to present your valid Annual Pass ID (linked to your My Disney Experience app) and a government-issued photo ID.
Mission Timeframe: Stitch treats will be available daily at Sunshine Seasons from May 1st to June 26th, while supplies last. So, don’t wait too long to get your paws on this limited-edition treat!

Construction is Now Complete at Columbia Harbour House in the Magic Kingdom

Ahoy, mateys! During a recent visit to Magic Kingdom the Chip and Co team found the refurbishment of Columbia Harbour House to be complete! This popular quick-service restaurant, known for its delicious New England-inspired fare and charming Liberty Square ambiance, has received a refreshing exterior update.

Work began back in September 2023, with the refurbishment meticulously making its way across the entirety of the restaurant’s facade, encompassing both the Fantasyland and Liberty Square sides. As the walls came down over the past few weeks, guests might have noticed some subtle but delightful changes. Fresh trees and foliage now grace the planters, adding a touch of renewed vibrancy to the exterior. The facades themselves, designed to resemble classic colonial houses, have received a fresh coat of paint, maintaining their original color schemes

One of the final touches was an update to the mural near the main entrance, which now boasts a brighter, more polished look. Rest assured, just like the rest of the building, the mural’s charming design remains unchanged. Columbia Harbour House offers a unique dining experience at Magic Kingdom. With two floors of seating, guests can enjoy their delicious meals while people-watching from the large windows, soaking in the sights and sounds of the park.

Goofy & Max make Surprise Appearance at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for Earth Day 2024

Disney’s Animal Kingdom roared into Earth Day and its 26th anniversary this week with a week-long celebration filled with special experiences, eco-conscious initiatives, and a whole lot of Disney magic. The biggest surprise of this years celebrations came on Monday, April 22nd, when none other than Goofy, sporting a blast-from-the-past outfit, crashed the party alongside his son Max for a delightful meet-and-greet that left parkgoers grinning from ear to ear!

Goofy looked particularly dapper in his vintage attire, sporting the classic Camp Minnie-Mickey outfit from the park’s defunct land. Complete with a cargo vest, flannel shirt, and ball cap, Goofy brought a touch of nostalgia to the Earth Day festivities. Max, ever the fashion icon, stuck to his signature style of a red shirt, purple pants, and yellow shoes.

Tiana’s Foods & Other Construction Now Visible at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

The queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom is getting more exciting with the arrival of new Tiana’s Foods props!

Piles of wooden crates sit just outside the queue’s barn, neighboring the recently arrived Tiana’s Foods delivery truck.

Sporting the signature green Tiana’s Foods stamp, the wooden crates stand stacked outside the queue’s barn. Interestingly, the left-hand pile features metal accents absent on their counterparts on the right. Separating each crate are sheets of brown canvas, adding a touch of mystery to their contents.

Crews have unwrapped some of the dark blue lampposts, matching the railings, while others patiently wait their turn. Two lucky lampposts already boast their hanging lights, a hint of the magical atmosphere to come.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is opening sometime this summer!

Disney’s Space Mountain Movie Lands New Writers

Disney’s iconic roller coaster ride, Space Mountain, is set to warp into a live-action movie! Writing duo Josh Appelbaum and André Neme- known for their work on action-packed hits like “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” and the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” reboot, have been recruited to write the script, bringing their talents to this exciting new project.

Unlike past Disney theme park ride adaptations based on established characters (think Pirates of the Caribbean), Space Mountain offers a blank canvas. The movie won’t be based on any existing characters or stories, but instead capture the thrilling, high-speed experience of the legendary coaster. Buckle up for a space adventure unlike any other!

We don’t know exactly what the story will be yet, but with this writing team on board, you can bet it’ll be a wild ride (pun intended!). Jonathan Eirich from Rideback (the folks behind Netflix’s live-action “Avatar: The Last Airbender”) is producing the movie alongside Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell. This project has been in the works for a while, but with this new writing team on board, it’s definitely blasting off soon!

Pixar Fest Decorations Start Showing up at the Disneyland Resort

Pixar Fest decorations have begun to show up at the Disneyland Resort ahead of the start of the festival!

Beloved characters and stories from Pixar Animation Studios are about to come to life in a whole new way when Pixar Fest returns to Disneyland Resort from April 26-Aug. 4, 2024! Pixar Fest is a celebration of friendship and beyond and will feature many all-new offerings, plus some returning favorites with special new enhancements!

When guests head to the parks the first decorations they’ll see are Pixar Fest banners and a new statue in the esplanade. The banners all feature different Pixar characters and the statue is still surrounded by walls.

The walls around the statue are blue and feature the Pixar Fest logo along with the green aliens from Toy Story seemingly peeking out from behind the walls. Above the walls you can see the top of the statue. The center looks to be a giant Pixar ball with different Pixar characters on the pieces around it. Different shades of yellow, red, and blue adorn the statue along with characters like Dory, Lightning McQueen, Mater, Nemo, Russel, and more.

Over in Disneyland guests can get a photo in front of a new Pixar Fest display in Town Square. The display is located where the massive Christmas tree goes during the holiday season. A gleaming golden arch shimmers with vibrant stained glass panels in the signature Pixar colors: sunny yellow, cheerful blue, and fiery red.

Different medallions and stars adorn the arch with different Pixar characters on them. Characters like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Wall-E, Eve, Dug, Russel, Dory, and more!

The area around the base of the statue is still dirt so we think flowers will be planted there soon.

The style is different to regular Loungefly backpacks, this one has a mail carrier style with a canvas material in a very ad hoc red wine color. On the front it shows Chef Mickey ready to cook the most delicious meals and “stamps” of different meals and locations.

On the back, you will find the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival 2024″ logo in orange. Very cute backpack for your visit to this tasty festival!
