In what could be a massive time-saver for dedicated Disney shoppers, the Walt Disney World app, My Disney Experience (MDE), has begun testing a new “Find Merchandise” feature to help guests quickly locate products across the property.

This highly anticipated tool is currently rolling out to a limited number of users, allowing Disney to fine-tune the feature before a wider launch.

How the Feature Works

Guests lucky enough to be part of the test can find the feature by scrolling down the MDE homepage and tapping “Try It Out.” The interface is designed to simplify the souvenir hunt:

Search and Browse: Users can search for a specific product, or browse popular categories like “Holiday,” “Pins,” or “Spirit Jersey.”

Detailed Views: Clicking on a specific item—like a new pair of Minnie Ears or a holiday ornament—brings up a picture, pricing, and details. For apparel, guests can even select a specific size.
Check Stock: The key function is the “Check Shop Availability” button. The app will then tell the user if the item is currently in stock at the participating location, along with displaying the store’s operating hours.

Limited Test, Big Potential

As the feature is currently in a testing phase, its functionality is limited. At the moment, users can only check availability for the sprawling World of Disney store at Disney Springs.

However, the interface suggests the ultimate goal is a resort-wide rollout, allowing guests to search for products across all four theme parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs—a massive improvement for planning shopping trips.

This isn’t the first time Disney World has offered a merchandise locator. Many years ago, a similar feature existed through the Shop Disney Parks app, but it was eventually retired, reportedly due to the immense difficulty of maintaining accurate, real-time stock levels across hundreds of locations.

The clock is ticking down to Jollywood Nights, starting next week! Guests can already see the major preparations, as Disney has erected a new stage right in front of the Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction for the special event.

Disney’s preparations for Jollywood Nights are highly visible with the construction of a large entertainment stage directly in front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. This structure occupies the familiar Center Stage plaza—the concrete area in front of the Chinese Theatre that was formerly the foundation for the Sorcerer’s Hat. During normal operating hours, this popular spot typically serves as a PhotoPass hub, but it is now fully dedicated to the exclusive nighttime holiday event.

During Jollywood Nights, the newly constructed stage will be home to one of the event’s most unique spectacles: “Glisten!” This is an incredible ice-skating show where talented skaters will glide and twirl to a medley of beloved Disney and classic holiday songs, featuring a brand-new, original song created exclusively for this inaugural event.

The attraction had seen several rumored reopening dates, with the most recent one being November 23. However, the operational status on the Disneyland website today confirms that the beloved coaster is running—a welcome return nearly three weeks ahead of its projected schedule.

Guests riding the freshly refurbished attraction will notice a key difference: the familiar waterfall at the top of the first cave climb has been replaced with misters. The holiday spirit is coming in hot — and apparently, so are the ticket sales. Every November date for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2025 has officially sold out, marking another year of record-fast demand for the Magic Kingdom’s most festive after-hours event.

Guests who were hoping to experience the early-season snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A. will now need to set their sights on December, where a handful of nights are still available. As of this week, tickets remain for December 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 19 — with prices ranging from $209 to $229 per person, plus tax.

That top-tier December 19 date, just days before Christmas week, currently holds the season’s highest price tag at $229, and judging by past years, it won’t stay available for long. In 2024, all nights sold out before the end of November — and 2025 looks to be on the same track.

Those lucky enough to have snagged tickets can look forward to a full slate of holiday magic, including:
