Mickey & Friends Debut New Fall Outfits in Disneyland

Mickey Mouse and his pals have donned new Fall outfits for their new character dining, ‘Mickey’s Autumn Adventures,’ at Storytellers Cafe.

Mickey is sporting a casual, autumnal look. He’s wearing a cozy, maroon shirt with a plaid flannel jacket and corduroy pants. To top it off, he’s got a cute yellow beanie and sturdy work boots. His outfit is perfect for a day in the orchard.

Minnie’s outfit looks absolutely adorable and cozy! She is rocking an orange and red flannel skirt with a cute tan sweater. The sweater features a pumpkin pattern. She’s also wearing teal knitted tights with burnt orange heels. In place of her typical bow is a lovely pumpkin hat with a small teal bow. She’s also accessorizing with a pumpkin crossbody bag.

Pluto is sporting a fall scarf featuring an image of what looks to be a lake or river in a wooded area. Very fitting for Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. His usual nametag has been replaced by a small pumpkin that has his name on it.

Chip and Dale are dressed in adorable autumn-themed outfits. They’re both wearing pale orange shirts and matching vests with a corduroy texture. The vests feature their names, “Chip” and “Dale,” embroidered on them. Dale’s vest also has a cute maple leaf patch on the sleeve. Their outfits perfectly complement the fall foliage and create a cozy, festive atmosphere.

“Mickey’s Autumn Adventures” is available during breakfast and brunch at Storytellers Cafe. Choose from favorites such as croissants, muffins, danishes, seasonal sliced fruits, fresh berries, Mickey Waffles, Bananas Foster French Toast, pork carnitas chilaquiles, hand-carved meats, custom-made omelets and much more.

New Spooky Tree Flight Coming to Carthay Circle this Week

The Carthay Circle Spooky Tree Flight is back! This second edition features the Halloween Appletini, launching September 5th at Carthay Circle Restaurant.

The flight comes with a spooky tree cup holder and three poison apple cups. The novelty items come with an appletini. The appletini is Crown Royal Regal Apple Flavored Whiskey, Apple Pucker Schnapps, and cranberry juice.

There is a limit of two per person per transaction and reservations are highly recommended.

All-New Villains Show Coming to Hollywood Studios in Summer 2025

Get ready for a villainous spectacular! A new live show is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, featuring your favorite Disney villains. This exciting production will debut in summer 2025, so mark your calendars!

Sunset Showcase in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be transformed into the mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror. The new show will feature appearances by dozens of the most infamous evildoers, with fiendish foes Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent each breaking through the glass to take the stage in live production numbers.

Before these villainous fiends take the spotlight at Sunset Showcase, guests should speed on over for another lap around the track at Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy before October 7.

Never ones to shy away from barging in unexpectedly, the Disney Villains’ appearance in this new show comes in addition to the future Villains-themed land announced for Magic Kingdom during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

Inside Out 2 Continues Its Triumphant Run

As we head into autumn, the summer box office is still heating up, thanks to the enduring popularity of Disney/Pixar’s Inside Out 2. This heartwarming animated sequel has not only captivated audiences worldwide but has also made history!

Inside Out 2 has now surpassed The Lion King to become the 9th highest-grossing movie ever. Its total global box office earnings have reached a staggering $1.667 billion. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the film’s universal appeal and its ability to connect with audiences of all ages.

New Permits Filed for DinoLand U.S.A. Transformation at the Animal Kingdom

Disney announcd back at Destination D23 in 2023 that the DinoLand USA area at Disney’s Animal Kingdom was on the chopping block, with the land set to be transformed into a ‘Tropical Americas’ experience that would contain attractions and theming from both the Encanto and Indiana Jones Franchises. The area has sat with little work ever since, and many guests began to wonder if the renovation was ever going to move forward. Disney confirmed the renovation is still a go during the D23 event last month in California, and new permits have now been filed to begin the work.

Three permits in total were recently filed for work on backstage areas, with all three permits assigned to Buena Vista Construction (a construction company owned and operated by Disney). Three seperate backstage buildings were listed on the permit, with the phrasing on the permits essentially pointing toward any type of general construction work, including electrical, labor, and/or materials.

While these permits are a bit generic in detail and do not provide specific details on exactly what work is being performed, it is exciting to see the Tropical Americas expansion finally moving forward. Once completed, the land will be the home of two new attraction: an Indiana Jones ride and an “Encanto”-themed experience. Indiana Jones will take over the current Dinosaur attraction, while the Encanto attraction will require a significant show building based on the model presented at D23. Tropical Americas is expected to open by 2027.

Magic Kingdom Adds New Fans to the Queue for Tiana's Bayou Adventure 1

(Not-Really) Breaking news: it gets HOT in Florida, especially in August-early September. Waiting in line for an attraction at Disney’s Magic Kingdom can be brutal, especially for line queues that utilize a lot of outdoor space. Disney is seemingly taking steps to help address this heat by adding new fans to the line queue at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

The fans are tall upright fans that actually contain two built-in fans, one blowing to the left and one to the right. The fans are pretty powerful, and their setup allows folks on both sides of them to get a bit of respite from the heat.

Magic Kingdom Adds New Fans to the Queue for Tiana's Bayou Adventure 2

We noted two of these fans in the queue for Tiana’s. While these two fans were obviously not enough to cool the entire area, they were a nice surprise on a hot day. We hope Disney continues to install these throughout the resort to help guests face the Florida heat!
