World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland Unveils Stunning Christmas Decorations
Get ready to experience the magic of Christmas in Arendelle! Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen will be celebrating its first holiday season this year, and new concept art shared by Managing Director Michael Moriarty gives us a glimpse of the festive transformation.
The artwork reveals Anna and Elsa dressed in their holiday outfits from Olafโs Frozen Adventure, suggesting they will appear in these special costumes during the season. Olaf also joins the fun, sporting a cozy winter hat as the kingdom of Arendelle gets a festive makeover. Garland, Christmas trees adorned with glowing candles, and snow falling over the village create a magical winter wonderland.
A closer look at the village decorations reveals Snowgies nestled in garlands, wreaths on doors, and beautifully lit Christmas trees. With the holiday celebration kicking off in mid-November, visitors can look forward to a truly enchanting Arendelle Christmas experience.
Beyond the holiday festivities, World of Frozen offers an immersive experience like no other. The land features Frozen Ever After, a heartwarming boat ride through Arendelle, where youโll encounter beloved characters like Olaf, Sven, Anna, and Elsa, all while enjoying iconic songs from the film. Disney Vacation Club Announces New Details for the Refurbished Imagination! Pavilion Lounge at EPCOT
Exciting news for Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members! Disney has officially shared more details about the upcoming reopening of the refurbished member lounge located in the Imagination! Pavilion at EPCOT. Renamed the Disney Vacation Club ImaginAtrium โ A Member Lounge, the updated space promises to be a relaxing retreat with several new features.
The ImaginAtrium will showcase an engaging exhibit of archival photos and images, giving members a glimpse into Disney’s rich history. Along with the new display, the lounge will offer comfortable seating, complimentary soft drinks, a children’s entertainment area, free Wi-Fi, and access to member services advisors, making it an ideal spot to unwind during a day at EPCOT.
While an official reopening date has yet to be announced, it’s expected to open soon. The lounge, located on the second floor of ImageWorks in the Imagination! Pavilion, will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A valid Membership Card and matching photo ID are required at check-in, and members can bring up to four guests or as many as are listed on their Resort reservation made with their Membership.
The lounge has been closed for refurbishment since June, with an original reopening planned for July. A temporary lounge at the Odyssey Pavilion was available for a few weeks but has since closed to make way for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. With the ImaginAtrium set to debut soon, DVC members can look forward to enjoying this refreshed space during their next visit to EPCOT.

Construction Update for DVC Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is expanding with the exciting addition of the Island Tower. This luxurious tower will offer stunning views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom, along with spacious villas featuring Polynesian-inspired dรฉcor and modern amenities. Guests will enjoy convenient access to the resort’s amenities, including the iconic Great Ceremonial House and the monorail to Magic Kingdom Park.
We stopped by the resort recently to check out the construction. Take a look.
The eastern wing of Island Tower boasts five stories of guest rooms with breathtaking views of the resort’s new pool.
The circular bar and restaurant should provide stunning vistas of Magic Kingdom across Seven Seas Lagoon.
It looks like most balcony railings have been installed and the paint job on the western side of the building seems complete.
Most of the construction appears to be happening on the lower and ground levels of the tower. We could also see some of the work happening on the pool area.
The anticipated opening date for Island Tower is December 17, 2024. It will be integrated into the existing Disney Vacation Club condo association for Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
