Pandora

I am by no means the authority when it comes to Disney Jewelry. For things like that I defer to the Disney Fashionista. However I do recognize a deal when I see one and I know these Pandora charms are hard to find and are for sale for much more on Ebay or Amazon. Shop owner JewelleryProject on Etsy has some cool handmade designs you might want to check out.

First up is the Sorcerer Mickey design pictured above. The ”Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat” Charm is only $31.

il_570xN.788592075_m0io

This Cinderella’s Pumpkin Coach is a little more at $47 but is adorable.

The Elsa, Anna, Belle, Ariel, and Cinderella Dresses all run $31 each.

For more designs check out their Etsy Store. Happy Shopping!

Just in Time for Summer: The Belle Beauty Collection

Belle 2
Belle 2

Belle-2

Summer is probably our favorite season for beauty, mainly because it’s all about simplicity. And if there’s a Disney character who holds a similar outlook on beauty, it’s definitely Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Belle’s natural beauty and kindness always shines through in whatever she does. And with the Belle Beauty Collection at Walgreens, you can channel Belle’s simply elegant style anytime.

The collection features makeup, nail polishes, and cosmetic bags from SOHO, e.l.f. Cosmetics, and ORLY. We’re especially big fans of the new nail polishes that have names like “Nose Stuck in a Book” (so Belle) and “Break the Spell.”

Will you be picking up the Belle Beauty Collection at Walgreens? Tell us in the comments below!

Firefighters Rescuing Riders Stuck for Hours on the Orlando Eye

Orlando Eye

Reports are coming in that the Orlando Eye stopped moving around 4:45 p.m today. 66 Riders were stuck without A/C and no way to get outside air in. Firefighters were called and they were ready to climb up and rescue people but apparently it was not needed because around 6:00pm various twitter users tweeted that they were moving again so hopefully that means they are getting people off car by car.

The Orlando Eye has only been opened for a few months and had a lot of issues similar to this.

Hope everything works out for them.

Choosing which Disney Vacation options is right for you

castle1

Planning a Disney Vacation is one of the most exciting things. At least for me and my family. When I help my clients book their own Magic Your Way package, I have to consider their needs, budget and what fits them! There are some fine details into a package that can help make it more Magical, or an extra cost you didn’t need.

Here are 5 options I make sure my client wants when booking their next Dream vacation!

5. Ticket Options. When putting together your very own Magic Your Way package, it includes a minimum of a resort stay and Ticket purchase. You can add Extras. We will get to that. Now, ticket purchases could be your Base Ticket. Which means 1 day 1 park. You can add the Park Hopper or Water Park Fun and More options.

Park Hopper- Your regular park admission but you can also hop one park from another or all 4 in one day, every day during your stay. Go to Animal Kingdom until it closes then head over to Magic Kingdom for some fireworks. If you plan on getting the most out of your days and maybe having dining reservations at different parks then the one you plan that day, this is the option for you!

Water Park Fun & More- This can be tricky.. if you purchase 5 day park tickets with this option, you get 5 Day base tickets to the main parks.. PLUS 5 fun visits. So really up to 10 days of fun. The options includes your choice of.. Disney’s water parks: Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, DisneyQuest an Interactive Theme Park (Closing next year) Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course (tee time reservations required and subject to availability)ESPN Wide World of Sports (including 30 minutes of game access at The PlayStation Pavilion on days when it is operating; some events require additional admission) Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course (one mini golf visit per day before 4:00 p.m.) Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (one mini golf visit per day before 4:00 p.m.)

4. Memory Maker. This makes sure that everyone in your party to get in the picture. Selfie Sticks are now a short lived thing of the past.. Don’t have anyone miss out on a photo (and without dodging those sticks!) Your Memory Maker allows you to download the pictures taken during your trip at many locations. Any PhotoPass Photographer, Dining locations, Attractions Photos AND Videos, and Magic Shots! Want a picture holding tinkerbell? Sure! It links right to your Magic Band and an advance purchase is $169 or if you purchase on your trip it is $199. It is good for your whole vacation.

3. Special Offers.  As a Travel Agent I automatically check for any discounts or promotions going on. Even after you book I always check for new ones that you could qualify for to save you extra money! If booking on your own, keep an eye out for these. They usually have different discounts to look at like Florida Resident, Annual Passholder or even traveling between specific dates could make you eligible for extra savings! Maybe Free Dining, get 5 day base ticket for price of 4. You never know the extra Magic that could be waiting! Also, sometimes World of Magic Travel has special giveaways!

2. Relaxing Days. Some times you need to rest up. You can walk a lot of miles around Disney! Take advantage of your resort, a pool day, take a stroll around the changing Downtown Disney into Disney Springs. There is plenty to do at Disney even if you don’t go to a park everyday. If you are wanting to save a few extra bucks, do the Base tickets, and figure out how many days you really want to visit the parks. Maybe plan a pool day in the middle to relax and soak up the Florida Sunshine.

1. Dining Plan. This is an extra add on to your Magic Your Way Vacation Package. You don’t need it, but it’s another option. If you want to take full advantage of your Disney Vacation or make it a Bucket List trip, add one of 3 Dining packages. As easy as having meal prepaid for your trip if you don’t think you will save additional money.. add it to your package and make payments on it. Dining Plus Package is the most common. it includes 1 table service on top of your Quick Service. Take an hour out of your day to sit, relax and be waited on. Or the Deluxe Dining plan would give you more, such as a 2 credit restaurant or Character Dining!

Consider these tips when planning out your next trip, and make it the vacation of a lifetime! When helping families plan their vacations I ask some questions to give the the best options, I break  it down of what each option includes and pricing difference. A package for one family, may not be the right package for you! Plan it right, and have the best vacation with no worries! Let my friends and I at World of Magic Travel help!  Service is FREE for helping book and plan your trip! An added bonus at no cost, sounds like a pretty good deal.. it is. I love to help my clients all the way through their vacation to make sure it is everything you dreamed it would be!

Ready to make your dream a reality? My name is Jamie and I’d love to help you get the best deal coming home! Disney Combines Consumer Products and Interactive Divisions

Logo DisneyConsumerProducts
Logo DisneyConsumerProducts

Logo_DisneyConsumerProducts

Disney has said that they are merging 2 divisions. One is consumer products and the other is the Interactive Division. They said Monday that the change is “in response to changing consumer preferences in a marketplace increasingly influenced by technology.”

When the two become one it will have a it’s own publishing unit. Which will put out kids books, e-books, and apps etc.

The new division will be co-chaired by the presidents of the consumer products and interactive divisions, Leslie Ferraro and Jimmy Pitaro. Disney is not planning on any layoffs with the merge of the 2 divisions.

This merge may have something to do with the fact that last year the Interactive Division suffered some big losses. The voyage into console games was quite an expensive venture for Disney, and their venture into mobile gaming also did not go as planned. However, the launch of Disney Infinity did help them out.

Tom Staggs, Disney’s chief operating officer, will oversee the transition.

What do you think?
