Early Morning Magic Hours have been extended through September

Disney’s Early Morning Magic has been extended through September with early entry to Magic Kingdom on select mornings from 7:45am – 10:00am. Make your Magic Kingdom morning more magical than ever with this limited-entry, first-access experience in the park.

With the purchase of regular theme park admission and a reservation to Disney Early Morning Magic, Guests of all ages can be among the first to enter Magic Kingdom park and experience a trio of famous Fantasyland attractions:The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight!

Plus, in addition to rising with the sun for some early-morning fun, you can also get your fill of a fantastic breakfast at Pinocchio Village Haus—featuring such scrumptious breakfast fare as:

Chilled juices, coffee and teas
Seasonal fruit and berries
Freshly baked pastries
Cheese and cured meats
Scrambled eggs with assorted toppings
Vegetable frittata
Smoked bacon
Pork and chicken sausages
Fried potatoes with caramelized onions
French toast
Assorted yogurts

Summer Schedule and Pricing Details
Disney Early Morning Magic takes place from 7:45 AM to 10:00 AM on select Tuesdays and Saturdays through June 2016. Then, beginning on July 1, 2016, the event will take place on select Sundays and Tuesdays through September 2016.

Admission to Disney Early Morning Magic is available for $69 per adult and $59 per child (tax not included). However, admission is very limited—be sure to book your reservation before it’s too late!

Finding Dory Box Office Continuing to Make Records

“Finding Dory” had a stellar opening last weekend at the box office, having brought in $135 million domestically. These numbers made the film rank as the highest grossing opening weekend of an animated film ever, as well as the second highest June opening of any movie. With it’s second weekend now beginning to wrap up, it is still going strong.

So far during its second weekend in theaters, “Finding Dory” has already brought in $75 million, making it the #1 movie of the weekend box office. It even topped Fox’s opening of “Independence Day: Resurgence” this weekend, which made $43 million. These box office numbers have made “Finding Dory” the seventh highest second-weekend ever for a film! Overall, “Dory” has brought in $287,213,059 worldwide.

Comparatively, “Frozen”, the highest grossing animated film of all time made $93,933,226 worldwide by its second weekend. With “Finding Dory” having almost made triple this amount, could it replace the title “Frozen” currently holds?

Disney’s upcoming release “The BFG“, directed by Stephen Spielberg will hit theaters this summer. The film just had it’s red carpet world premiere last night, including of course Spielberg himself, Oscar Award-winning actor and star of the film Mark Rylance, Dame Penelope Wilton, Jemaine Clement, Rebecca Hall, Bill Hader, and newcomer Ruby Barnhill.

The grand opening of Frontera Cocina in Town Center at Disney Springs is this Monday, June 27th. It is the newest Mexican restaurant by renown Chef Rick Bayless and hours are 11am until 11pm, seven days a week. The restaurant will also feature a Grab and Go window that offers guacamole and chips along with tacos.

Only walk-ups will be accepted until reservations become available on July 21, 2016. There was some confusion as Open Table was pre-maturely allowing reservations to be made as early as this weekend. Guests should have been notified of cancellation.

Star Wars Pressed Coin Machines Debut at Disneyland Resort

Pressed coin collectors will be excited to hear that six new Star Wars inspired pressed coin souvenirs will debut at the Disneyland Resort this summer. The new pressed coin machines are available inside the Star Trader in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park.

Those who have joined the Resistance or find themselves using the Force to make their selection from the new quarter-pressed coins will not be disappointed. You’ll find Rey, Chewbacca and the Resistance symbol to help guide your way. If the dark side summons you, be prepared, as your quarter-press coin selections will include Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma and the First Order symbol.

A video will soon appear on the main screen of the pressed coin machine that will help guide you in the right direction no matter where your loyalties lie. Choose wisely and complete your destiny!

The Wishes Fireworks Holiday Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace is now available to book during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, held on select nights at Magic Kingdom from November 7 through December 22, 2016. A valid ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is required to attend the dessert party and is not included in the cost of the premium package. Dinner reservations are also available during party nights at Cinderella’s Royal Table, Be Our Guest and The Crystal Palace Restaurant.

The Holiday Wishes Premium Package offers guests the chance to take in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade from a special reserved viewing location on Main Street, U.S.A. Then, after you’ve experienced this dazzling cavalcade of festive friends—each dressed in their holiday best—and enjoyed a visit from Jolly Old Saint Nick himself, you’re invited to a private dessert party! It’s the perfect place to treat your senses to fa-la-la-fantastic views of Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks bursting high above Cinderella Castle.

But that’s not all! There’s even more in store…

At a table decked with boughs of holly, discover a host of holiday-themed cupcakes and desserts freshly prepared by our pastry chef, along with a bountiful buffet of sweet treats—like chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate mousse, ice cream, cheeses and fresh, seasonal fruits.

So raise a cup of good cheer with sparkling cider, signature lemonades, specialty Christmas drinks, hot chocolate, coffee or tea, and then marvel as the sky above explodes with color, music and light!

The Holiday Wishes Dessert Premium Package is available on the following dates:

November 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 27 and 29, 2016
December 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 28 and 22, 2016

Each premium package costs $79 for adults and $49 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax not included). Seating is available on a first-come, first served basis, although every table features views of Cinderella Castle.

Reservations can be booked online or by calling (407) 939-3463. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call. Guests who reserve the Holiday Wishes Dessert Premium Package can check in from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. Upon check-in, you will receive an official credential for event identification.

A Happy HalloWishes Dessert Premium Package at Magic Kingdom is also available on select evenings from September 2 through October 31, 2016 during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Dinner reservations at Be Our Guest, Cinderella’s Royal Table and Crystal Palace are available during party nights, however a valid party ticket is required.

Guests can enjoy a special reserved viewing location during Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade followed by a private dessert party. Top the evening off with an amazing view of the Happy HalloWishes fireworks bursting above Cinderella Castle.

The Happy HalloWishes Dessert Premium Package costs $79 for adults or $47 for children (ages 3 to 9), plus tax. Seating is available on a first-come, first served basis. A separate Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket is also required and is not included in the price of the package.

Excellent News, FuelRod Kiosks Coming to Walt Disney World

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had my phone, or camera die while at the Disney Parks. The worst is when I totally forget my charger back at the resort. So I was delighted when WDW News Today reported that soon FuelRod kiosks would be coming to Disney World.

The FuelRod kisoks will offer portable charging batteries for guests to purchase for $30.00. Which will include:

A portable charging battery
6″ USB Type A to micro-USB cable (for most Android devices)
One Apple 30-pin to USB cable
One Apple Lightning to USB cable

The purchase is will not be a rental, you will own this after purchase.

I love that the FuelRod packs will include charging devices for both iPhone and Android. You can charge the batter yourself with the provided accessories or you may swap a depleted battery out for fully charged ones at any of these kiosks. Once purchased, the battery swap will not be an extra charge for you.

I found something truly fun and colorful today. I think it will look great in my already bright and bold Mickey bathroom too! This Retro Mickey Shower Curtain is full of vivid colors, and fun Mickey faces!

This waterproof Retro Mickey Shower Curtain is sure to brighten any bathroom. It features a cascading design of classic Mickey Mouse expressions. I also love all the classic faces on display of Mickey in blues, red, orange, green, yellow, fuchsia and even black. There are some great things about this curtain. Like the many options for the rest of the accessories in your bathroom you can have. You can do green towels and bathmats, or a bold yellow soap dish and toothbrush holder. You really could incorporate any of the shown colors into making a bold Mickey bathroom. Who says you have to use the traditional red and black accessories that are usually common.

I bet you could also do your own DIY hidden Mickey paintings to decorate with. I even did a color block design I printed and framed for my bathroom. It even features Donald and Goofy too! I have a Mickey curtain in similar colors to this one, so this is a perfect curtain to switch out for a change of pace. Best part is, I don’t have to also redo the rest of my bathroom.

If you’re looking for a great way to cool off this summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, then why not take a stroll through the air-conditioned One Man’s Dream? While you’re there, you’ll even have the chance to view the new Pete’s Dragon trailer, starting July 1st.

If you’re on the west coast you can catch the 10-minute trailer at Sunset Showcase theater in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure instead.

Disney has this to say about their upcoming film, being released on August 12th:

In “Pete’s Dragon,” old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children for years with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), who works as a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley). Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliot. And from Pete’s descriptions, Elliot seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year- old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon.
