AMC Disney Springs 24 to Begin Offering Reserved Seating

For those who like to do a bit of movie-going at Walt Disney World, AMC has announced that as of Monday, November 7th, visitors will have the opportunity to pick their seats in advance when buying a ticket for any film at AMC Disney Springs 24.

Sets can be reserved in advance online, using AMC’s Mobile App, via the automated box office machines, or at the box office.

All tickets and seats will be labeled with corresponding seat assignments to aid visitors in finding their locations.

Disney Inspired Christmas Candles are Full of Holiday Cheer

I’m so excited by all the wonderful new Holiday treats and goodies that are now available! It’s like November 1st whisked in and all of my favorite things were stocked in Christmas trimmings. The new Disney Inspired Christmas Candles from MagicalScentsByAlisa are no exception.

I can’t think of a better Christmas celebration like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! The scents of hot cocoa and fresh candy cane waft through the air. Starting on November 10th, Disney California Adventure Park will play host to a range of seasonal entertainment celebrating culture and designed to put you in the Christmas spirit. Here’s a rundown of some of the amazing acts on offer as part of their Festival of the Holidays.

Princess Elena’s Magical Arrival Welcome the Crown Princess of Avalor who will be arriving in Disneyland just in time for the holidays with her singing and dancing cavalcade.
Holiday Toy Drummers – Get ready to march your way to a Merry Christmas with the Toy Drummers who will bring a smile to your face with precision drills heavy on holiday flair and childlike whimsy.
Disney ¡Via Navidad!- You won’t want to miss this delightful Street Party hosted by the Three Caballeros and featuring folklórico, samba dancers, live music and a Disney friend or two!
Mariachi Divias – Join these Grammy winners for a fun-filled sing-along.
RAISE – An a capella take on classic Christmas songs.
Blue 13 Dance Company – An amazing dance troupe that will blow you away with their traditional Indian dancing and a Bollywood block party!
Mostly Kosher- Watch as jazz, rock, Latin and hip-hop are fused together by this versatile Klezmer band.

Other highlights include Santa’s Holiday Visit located at the Redwood Challenge Trail where families will have the opportunity to meet Santa and World of Color – Season of Light combing classic Christmas songs with scenes from much-loved Disney movies in an evening performance destined to sweep you up in the magic of the Season. In addition to the acts listed above, Festival of Holidays will also feature holiday foods,drinks, meet and greets, crafts, kids activities, as well as an opportunity to celebrate a myriad of different holiday traditions including Three Kings Day, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas/Navidad.

Disney Cruise Line increases the pricing for Remy

After just raising the rates on Remy just a little while ago Disney Cruise Line just raised their rates again.

Here are the details:

Effective Nov. 4, 2016 on the Disney Dream and Nov. 5 on the Disney Fantasy, the price of Remy will increase from $85 per person to $95 per person for dinner, from $55 per person to $60 per person for brunch and from $50 per person to $55 per person for dessert offering.

Ever wonder what happened after the end of “Big Hero 6”? The team of scientific geniuses defeated the bad guy. But what’s next? How will 14-year-old tech genius Hiro handle starting school at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology? What kind of new, high-tech villains will the team have to face?

Good thing “Big Hero 6” is a new animated series coming to Disney XD in 2017, picking up immediately following the riveting events of the feature film. To help tell this new story, a whole cast of familiar voices have returned to reprise their roles from the movie: Maya Rudolph as Aunt Cass; Jamie Chung as electromagnetics specialist Go Go; Scott Adsit as everyone’s favorite inflatable health assistant, Baymax; Alan Tudyk as tech guru Alistair Krei; Ryan Potter as robotics prodigy Hiro; Genesis Rodriguez as the bubbly chemist Honey Lemon; David Shaughnessy as the butler, Heathcliff; and Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee as out by newcomers Fred’s dad.

New to the cast is Khary Payton as laser specialist Wasabi and Brooks Wheelan as everyone’s favorite mascot by day—and also by night—Fred. Additional newcomers to the series include Jenifer Lewis as strict Professor Granville, Andrew Scott as mysterious new villain Obake, comedian Andy Richter as Globby, Diedrich Bader as Bluff Dunder, Susan Sullivan as Fred’s mother, Sean Giambrone as Richardson Mole, John Ross Bowie as Mel, and Haley Tju as classmate Karmi.

Returning to the super hero storytelling arena are executive producers and Emmy® Award winners Mark McCorkle, Bob Schooley, and Nick Filippi, originally known for their global hit Disney Channel Series “Kim Possible”, another story about tech-powered super-teens saving the day. Filippi is also the supervising director of the series.

Race through New York soon to open at Universal Studios

Have you heard about the new exciting ride Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon well starting in the spring of 2017 you will be able to ride the brand new attraction! You will be immersed in the world of America’s No. 1 late-night talk show “The Tonight Show” where you will enjoy some comedy of Jimmy Fallon before entering an action packed race vs Jimmy Fallon through New York City. Today, Universal Orlando Resort reveals new details about the ride.

The attraction will also feature cameos by familiar faces like Sara from “Ew,” Jimmy in “Tight Pants,” “Tonight Show” announcer Steve Higgins, and Grammy award-winning band, The Roots, who are also the musical masterminds behind the original attraction score.

HANG OUT IN STUDIO 6B

Guests can enjoy a special live performance from the Ragtime Gals barbershop quartet in the Studio 6B Club. Plus, guests will have the chance to meet and interact with The Tonight Show’s beloved mascot, Hashtag the Panda.
Studio 6B Club will also give guests the opportunity to play host at their own Interactive Desk where they can send Jimmy Fallon’s famous Thank You Notes to their friends and family, prep for their race with a ‘Jimmy Drive’ retro-style video game, and watch their favorite show clips.

GET READY FOR A CRAZY RIDE

Guests will board the world’s first-ever flying theater, which seats up to 72 audience members, for their thrilling race against Jimmy Fallon.
The race will take guests through the streets of New York City and all the way to the moon and back. They’ll encounter iconic landmarks from the Statue of Liberty to the Empire State Building to everything in between.

EXPLORE THE HISTORY OF THE TONIGHT SHOW

As they step foot into the renowned NBC Studios, guests will get an up-close look at significant moments in the 62-year history of one of television’s most popular franchises, “The Tonight Show.”

A First Look at Wine Bar George Coming to Disney Springs In Fall 2017

Doctor Strange Meet and Greet To Begin at Hollywood Studios on Nov 4th.

Those heading to Hollywood Studios in the weeks ahead will want to be on the lookout for Doctor Strange who will begin greeting guests and posing for pictures starting on November 4, 2016.

It is being reported the character will be appearing at the end of Pixar Place where Streets of America has been closed to make way for the upcoming expansion and refurbishment.

However, due to contractual obligations with Marvel and Universal, Disney will not be publicly advertising the event. So guests hoping to catch a glimpse of the superhero will need to check the area to see if he crops up.

As of going to print there has be no word on how long this character meet-up will be available to park guests. Watch this space for updates.

Disney Launches Share The Joy Campaign

The Walt Disney Company launched its annual “Share the Joy” campaign today to inspire kids and families to volunteer and spread goodwill this holiday season to those who need it most. Through “Share the Joy” events and themed programming across the Disney|ABC Television Group, families in the U.S. will be encouraged to give with food and gift contributions, or volunteering in collaboration with Feeding America®, generationOn and Toys for Tots.

This year, as part of Disney’s “Share the Joy” campaign, Disney|ABC Television Group will encourage its audiences across multiple platforms to “Share the Joy” through themed programming on ABC’s “The Chew,” which will kick off the campaign on today’s show, “General Hospital,” Freeform’s “Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?” and multiple Disney Channel series including “Girl Meets World,” “Bizaardvark,” “Liv and Maddie: Cali Style” and “BUNK’D.” Additionally, two series of inspiring public service announcements (PSAs) will motivate families to get involved with Feeding America and Toys for Tots this holiday season. The PSAs will be presented across multiple platforms including ABC, Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD through December. Also, ABC owned television stations in local markets will host volunteer events at food banks and toy drives throughout their communities and they will feature news segments highlighting the importance of giving back and volunteerism.

As part of “Share the Joy,” Disney will support Family Volunteer Day to demonstrate and celebrate the power of families who volunteer together. Taking place this year on November 19, Family Volunteer Day powered by generationOn – the youth division of Points of Light – encourages children to be change MAKERS in their communities and the world as they learn valuable life lessons about kindness, caring and compassion.

“A Frozen Holiday Wish” Castle Lighting and Stage Show has Begun!

Disney’s Holiday season has officially begun, with the start of the Castle lighting and stage show “A Frozen Holiday Wish“. November 2nd was the first performance of this spectacular display of the year. The show will continue throughout the Holidays at Magic Kingdom.

On the first Castle Lighting of the year, many fans watched along side us live on Facebook as Elsa lit up the night with frozen delights. Guests of the Magic Kingdom can watch this Special Holiday stage show featuring: Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf. On nights with no Christmas party there will be a single viewing at 7:00 pm. On Party nights there will be two shows, one at 6:30 pm, and one at 8:15 pm.
