The Disneyland Encyclopedia Updated Third Edition by Chris Strodder comes out April 11th, and is filled with magical histories of Disneyland. Since its humble beginnings in the mid-1950s, Disneyland has captured the imagination of millions of visitors. Author Chris Strodder launches his new, completely updated and expanded third edition of The Disneyland Encyclopedia (Santa Monica Press/April 2017) with over 50 new entries and 300 new photos. This new edition of The Disneyland Encyclopedia spans the entire history of the park, from its founding more than 60 years ago to the present day.

This fascinating book features detailed explorations of 600 Disneyland topics, including lands, attractions, restaurants, stores, events, and significant people. Each of the main encyclopedia entries illuminates the history of a Disneyland landmark, revealing the initial planning strategies for the park’s iconic attractions and detailing how they evolved over the decades.

It’s the first Tuesday of April, so that means it’s the first Tsum Tsum Tuesday of the month! This Tuesday takes us on a trip with a sneak peek of our favorite Disney pals’ next collection. On April 18th, the new Disney Tsum Tsum collection, gives these little cuties a make over for a tropical trip.

It’s time for warm sun, and tropical breezes with Mickey and the gang! Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Dumbo, Chip and Dale have put on their vacation outfits for a fun new Tsum Tsum collection. Mickey and Minnie are ready to explore under the waves with the his scuba gear, and her pretty in pink goggles. Goofy and Donald have their floaties, while Daisy has her swim cap for a day of splashing in the pool. Dumbo is ready to see the sites with his trusty camera in toe. I love that they gave him the camera since in the Tsum Tsum shorts he’s always flying in to snap a photo. My favorite ones from the up comming collection though are Chip and Dale! They are dressed as a pineapple and a coconut, how freaking cute is that?

The Vacation Tsum Tsum Collection will be available at the Disney Store, Disney Store Online, and select locations at Disney Parks April 18th.

Marvel’s The Defenders Series Gets A Teaser Trailer and release date

The last check mark on the list has been checked with meeting Iron Fist, now it’s time to look ahead to “The Defenders“.

Marvel‘s heroes of Hell’s Kitchen will assemble in an Avengers-style miniseries event for Netflix, and now we have a release date.

In a brief teaser video security camera footage shows the superhuman quartet riding an elevator in Midland Circle, the mysterious corporation at the center of that literal hole in Daredevil season 2. Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones spies the security camera and smashes it exactly at the 08:18:20:17 mark.

A Second Season of “Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” Set To Premiere This Summer

A second season of the animated comedy adventure series “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” is set to return this summer on Disney XD. Recently nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards, the fun Force-filled series will continue the story of the Freemakers as they join the Rebellion in their fight against the Empire.

Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, Programming and general manager, Disney XD, announced, “The series creators expertly deliver an equal amount of comedy and signature Star Wars adventure into their storytelling. We’re looking forward to bringing our viewers a brand new season of galactic adventures with the Freemaker family throughout summer.”

At the end of the first season, the Freemaker family found a new home with the Rebel fleet. Their new circumstances bring them face to face with brutal Imperial forces, desperate Hutts, conniving Sith Lords and the Emperor’s latest plaything, M-OC, a terrifying hunter droid who continually modifies himself to fit any occasion. In response to these threats, Rowan’s powers grow and strengthen until he has a vision of a sleek, invulnerable ship that can save the Rebellion and stop the Empire in its tracks – the Arrowhead. The catch is the Arrowhead is a ship only Rowan can build. Once again, it’s up to the youngest Freemaker to save the galaxy.

Prior to the second season debut, five new shorts that fill in the storytelling between seasons one and two of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” debut Wednesday, May 4, on Disney XD in celebration of the Star Wars fan-generated “May the 4th Be With You” holiday. A peek of the upcoming season of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” will also be revealed at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida in April.

Firefighters rescue injured worker at Guardians of the Galaxy Ride in Disney’s California Adventure

According to the OC Register Firefighters were called in to rescue a construction worker who suffered a minor knee injury while working on a scaffolding at the new Guardians of the Galaxy Ride in Disney’s California Adventure around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, April 3rd.

Firefighters had to use a harness to lower the man three stories from his working perch due the injury according to Sgt. Daron Wyatt.

There is no word on how he injured his knee and no other information has been released at this time.

Disney is changing the Hollywood Tower of Terror into the new Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout Ride in Disney’s California Adventure! This ride is set to open next month!

The “Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along” will feature on-screen lyrics to such beloved songs as “Belle,” “Be Our Guest,” “Gaston” and “Beauty and the Beast” written by eight-time Oscar®-winning composer Alan Menken and two-time Oscar-winning lyricist Howard Ashman and new songs “How Does a Moment Last Forever” and “Evermore” written by Menken and veteran lyricist and three time Oscar winner Tim Rice.

U.S. Navy Blue Angels Will be Flying Over Magic Kingdom This Week at Walt Disney World

There will be extra magic in the sky at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park this Thursday morning as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels fly over Main Street U.S.A. The Blue Angels are set to make two passes above Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort on April 6 between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m.

In 2015, thousands of guests cheered as the Blue Angels performed similar flyovers at Magic Kingdom. Then, Six F/A-18 Hornet jets roared down Main Street U.S.A. at more than 250 miles an hour on a first pass before finishing with a stunning Delta Break over Cinderella Castle.
