The size of the coaster area looks especially impressive from above, with huge sections of concrete pads stretching across the construction site like the factory floor of Monsters, Inc. itself. While Disney has not yet released full ride details, the attraction is expected to feature a suspended coaster inspired by the famous door vault chase scene from Monsters, Inc.

The latest photos also show backstage road modifications, utility work, and additional infrastructure development happening around the edges of the project site as Disney continues reshaping this entire corner of Hollywood Studios.

One of the biggest new developments is the carousel structure now taking shape in Tropical Americas. The area is currently packed with steel beams, construction materials, equipment, and temporary workspaces as crews continue preparing infrastructure for the future family attraction inspired by the Madrigal family.

While much of the land still looks like a sprawling construction maze of dirt paths, rebar, and concrete pads, the latest progress marks an important shift as vertical construction begins to dominate the site. With steel now climbing skyward in multiple areas, Tropical Americas is finally starting to look less like a demolition zone and more like a brand-new themed land taking root inside Animal Kingdom.

The newest additions come just ahead of the Fast & Furious franchise’s 25th anniversary this June, giving fans a chance to get up close to pieces of movie history that helped fuel one of Hollywood’s biggest action franchises.

Leading the new arrivals is the unmistakable 2003 Hummer H2 from Fast X, driven by Scott Eastwood’s character in the film. Joining it is a screen-used 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo from F9, adding another iconic ride to the museum’s growing Fast & Furious collection.

Dezerland Park says the vehicles are already on display inside the Orlando Auto Museum, which features more than 2,500 vehicles spanning film, television, pop culture, and automotive history. The museum was recently ranked the No. 2 auto museum in the United States by Travel + Leisure.

Todd Larkin, director of marketing for Dezerland Park, said the franchise continues to connect with audiences across generations and that adding screen-used vehicles from recent films gives fans a chance to experience the action up close.

Located on International Drive, Dezerland Park Orlando features more than 850,000 square feet of indoor attractions, dining, entertainment, and event space, making it one of Central Florida’s largest indoor entertainment destinations.
