The playful new plate swaps the “E” for a “3” and adds another layer of Muppet-style personality to the oversized ride vehicle display. The chrome-backed car already features colorful psychedelic swirls and retro-inspired graphics, but the new vanity plate helps tie the entire prop directly into the attraction’s updated Muppets theme.

Meanwhile, guests can now also spot a vibrant new in-park poster alongside the massive guitar marquee outside the attraction.

The updated exterior continues Disney’s gradual transformation of the former Aerosmith-themed coaster into Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, which was officially announced as part of the attraction’s upcoming retheme.

Between the giant psychedelic guitar, the chaotic concert poster, and now the MUPP3TS vanity plate, this coaster entrance is quickly becoming peak Electric Mayhem energy.

The updated letters pair with the fresh chrome plating to give the building a polished studio-premiere vibe, almost like the attraction entrance just rolled out onto a Hollywood red carpet.

From above, the attraction is beginning to look less like a pile of steel and more like an actual high-speed coaster experience roaring to life backstage at Universal Studios Florida. Cranes tower over the site while construction crews continue assembling support beams, track sections, and infrastructure throughout the rapidly evolving project footprint.

Several additional aerial photos focus on construction happening adjacent to the station area, including a large elevated concrete platform that bioreconstruct identifies as the future switch track location.

The concrete platform sits beside major sections of coaster track and appears designed to handle operational switching elements that will move coaster trains between the main attraction and backstage maintenance areas. Excavation work, reinforced foundations, trenches, and utility installation continue surrounding the structure as crews build out the attraction’s operational systems.

The final aerial images also reveal continued progress on both the station and maintenance building for the coaster. Additional steel framing, roofing components, and coaster track now stretch around the backstage complex behind the park’s New York area.

The monsters are moving in fast at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The most eye-catching update comes from the former Muppet*Vision 3D building itself, where crews are actively stripping away exterior elements from the classic facade as retheming work ramps up. Scaffolding now surrounds large sections of the structure, and decorative details that once screamed “Muppets” are steadily disappearing behind construction walls and exposed framework.

Behind the scenes, construction crews are also making huge progress on the future Monstropolis roller coaster project.

New aerial overviews show an enormous concrete foundation now covering much of the coaster site, with towering black steel supports already rising from the ground. Several large structural framework sections are now visible, giving fans a better sense of the attraction’s eventual scale. Heavy equipment, cranes, and extensive excavation work continue across the massive show building footprint.

The size of the coaster area looks especially impressive from above, with huge sections of concrete pads stretching across the construction site like the factory floor of Monsters, Inc. itself. While Disney has not yet released full ride details, the attraction is expected to feature a suspended coaster inspired by the famous door vault chase scene from Monsters, Inc.

The latest photos also show backstage road modifications, utility work, and additional infrastructure development happening around the edges of the project site as Disney continues reshaping this entire corner of Hollywood Studios.

One of the biggest new developments is the carousel structure now taking shape in Tropical Americas. Steel supports are already in place around the perimeter, giving fans a better sense of the attraction’s scale as work continues.

Nearby, a tall steel tower frame has also recently been raised, adding another vertical element to the rapidly changing skyline of the land. While Disney has not publicly detailed every structure yet, the new framework suggests vertical show elements and themed architecture are beginning to emerge from the dirt-heavy phase of construction.

The Indiana Jones attraction site is also becoming much easier to spot from the air. New aerial photos show large steel framing rising for the future Mayan pyramid show building, which will eventually anchor the reimagined attraction replacing DINOSAUR. The skeletal framework already hints at the massive scale Disney is planning for the project, with the structure towering over surrounding construction zones like an ancient temple awakening in the jungle.

Additional aerial images also provide a look at a large construction staging area that will become the extended queue for the upcoming Encanto attraction. The area is currently packed with steel beams, construction materials, equipment, and temporary workspaces as crews continue preparing infrastructure for the future family attraction inspired by the Madrigal family.

New Aerial Photos Show Tropical Americas Construction Rising at Animal Kingdom

While much of the land still looks like a sprawling construction maze of dirt paths, rebar, and concrete pads, the latest progress marks an important shift as vertical construction begins to dominate the site. With steel now climbing skyward in multiple areas, Tropical Americas is finally starting to look less like a demolition zone and more like a brand-new themed land taking root inside Animal Kingdom.
