Wolfgang Puck at Disney Springs Debuts a Carrot Cake Shake

Wolfgang Puck Carrot Cake Shake

Monster shakes have been on our radar at Walt Disney World for a while (Minnie Milkshake at the Plaza anyone?) and they keep getting bigger and better. Enter Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill’s new Carrot Cake Shake. This is the dark horse of the Disney shakes; it sounds simple but it’s loaded with originality.

Wander down to Disney Springs to indulge yourself in this twisted classic. Wolfgang Puck has been known to serve an amazing carrot cake for a long time now (beloved enough to have spawned a few copycat recipes around the internet!), so a new take is sure to be impressive. The shake is the special sundae for fall, in other words, it won’t be permanent; it starts with a Carrot Cake gelato base, has a mound of whipped cream piped on top, and is finished off with an entire Carrot Cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting. And we’re talking a lot of frosting. Shakes and cupcakes? Count us in! The only real question is: spoon or straw?

https://www.instagram.com/p/B2wuTzwglFj/

And if Carrot Cake isn’t your thing, maybe the returning Campfire Sundae will be your choice: it’s made with salted caramel and chocolate cookie crunch gelatos, chocolate cheesecake with Graham cracker crust, roasted marshmallows, pretzel sticks, caramel popcorn, and marshmallow fluff.

No matter what you choose, Wolfgang Puck’s Bar & Grill is a great place to be this fall. Hurry down to Disney Springs to check out these delicious desserts for yourself!

Disney and Lucasfilm teamed up with NBC’s broadcast of NFL Sunday Night Football to release a new 45-second tv commercial full of footage from the Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker sneak peek fans at the 2019 D23 Expo were able to witness during Disney’s Upcoming Featured Films panel.

NFL Sunday Night Football Showcased New 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' Trailer

“It’s been a gift to work with these people again. To get to deal with these characters again. I didn’t think that was going to happen for me,” writer-director J.J. Abrams, who relaunched the franchise with 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, previously told The Star Wars Show. “This ending, which is such an important thing for all of us, by far, has been the most challenging thing I’ve ever worked on.”

The 45-second television slot included footage primarily found in the special look fans got to enjoy during the D23 Expo and was the first release on television to showcase C-3PO with red eyes and “Dark Rey” as she is being called by fans online. The footage seem to show Rey having been consumed by the Dark Side and wielding a double bladed, hinged lightsaber.

If you didn’t get your chance before, now you can watch the D23 Expo Special Look at Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker below, Enjoy!

Service Dog Nala Gets Reunited With Donald Duck At Epcot!

service dog nala and donald duck

Nala has won over the hearts of thousands of people around the world and honestly we can totally see why!

The two year old puppy is a service dog trained to help people with autism that loves to go to Disney World with her owner Megan as often as they can.

In their latest visit to Epcot to celebrate her birthday, Nala was reunited with Donald Duck and the encounter was totally adorable. As soon as she saw him she went up to him to lay on his lap and get some pets from her favorite duck. Donald was putting his hands up to his face as if he was crying, truly touched by the puppy reaction.

She then proceeded to posed for some pictures and then lay down next to him to get some belly rubs and Donald was more then happy to help.

“Nala did not want to leave Donald at all” said Megan. “She loves him a lot!”

To know more about Nala and her encounter with Donald and other Disney friends, check out her Instagram account:

The Disney Arendelle Aqua Trend Continues with a Cotton Candy Eclair

Arendelle Aqua Cotton Candy Eclair

Have you been keeping up with the ”Arendelle Aqua” trend? It seems that when Disney drops a new color scheme it pops up everywhere and this light blue is no different. From spirit jerseys and wristlets to ice cream cones and Victoria sponges, this craze has pushed the creative limits. The latest place we’ve discovered it is over at the Grand Floridian’s Gasparilla Island Grill in the form of an Arendelle Aqua Cotton Candy Eclair. It’s quite a mouthful in more ways than one!

The Disney Arendelle Aqua Trend Continues with a Cotton Candy Eclair

Outside of Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, eclairs are a rarity on Walt Disney World property, so that alone makes this dessert stand out. The flavors take that uniqueness to another level. This eclair is a traditional choux pastry filled with cotton candy mousse and raspberry curd, topped with white chocolate and sugar sprinkles, then finished off with a decorative white chocolate snowflake that would make Queen Elsa proud. The eclair is absolutely stuffed and will satisfy one or two guests, depending on how much sweetness you need.

Whether you’re a fan of Arendelle Aqua or not, we Disney foodies can agree that new snacks are worth checking out! If you’re heading over to the Grand Floridian, be sure and stop by the Gasparilla Island Grill for yourself. Grab this trendy eclair, while you still can, for $5.99 or a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan. We’ll just be over here dreaming about eclairs becoming the next big Disney trend.
