Get ready, Disney fans, because there’s a new must-have accessory at Hollywood Studios, and it’s absolutely adorable! For just $24.99, you can now snag your very own Stitch Magnetic Shoulder Plush, and trust me, he’s going to be your new best park companion.
This isn’t just any plush; it’s a perfectly pint-sized Stitch designed to perch right on your shoulder! Our favorite mischievous alien is sporting his classic blue hues, complete with a lighter blue belly and those sweet darker blue pads on his feet. He’s in a cheerful sitting position, gazing upwards with a super happy smile that’s sure to melt your heart.
And don’t worry, all his signature details are there: his cute blue nubby tail and those famously floppy pink ears. Around back, you’ll even spot a few more of his blue spots and that fun tuft of blue fur sticking out from the top of his head.
So, how does this magic happen? It’s all thanks to a clever magnetic puck, which conveniently matches Stitch’s darker blue shade. The instructions are super simple: just slide the puck under your shirt, and then pop Stitch on top, the magnets do all the work, keeping him securely (and adorably) in place while you explore the park!
Head over to Hollywood Studios and grab your own shoulder-perching Stitch before he surfs away!
The Golden Girls x Zero Waste Daniel: Your New Favorite Fashion Obsession Is Here!
Get ready, Golden Girls fans, because something truly special is coming your way! To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic, Emmy-winning series, Zero Waste Daniel (ZWD) has teamed up with Disney Entertainment Television for an official capsule collection and an immersive pop-up experience. And trust us, you’re going to want a piece of this!
Starting July 31, you can get your hands on a limited-edition The Golden Girls x Zero Waste Daniel collection that’s all about celebrating Blanche, Dorothy, Rose, and Sophia. ZWD, known for their bold and heartfelt designs, has taken sitcom nostalgia and given it a fresh, artistic spin. Whether you’re hitting up their Brooklyn store or shopping online, prepare to see your favorite foursome in a whole new light.
ZWD founder Daniel Silverstein shares that The Golden Girls were a “North Star” for him growing up, teaching him about chosen family, fearlessness, and fashion. He sees them as trailblazers who tackled tough topics with humor and heart, lessons that still resonate today. For Daniel, creating this collection is a huge privilege and a heartfelt thank you for all the laughter, lessons, and, of course, the late-night cheesecake.
A Collection That’s Pure Gold
The 25-piece capsule collection is completely gender-free and bursting with the energy of each Golden Girl. Get ready for bold visuals, emotionally resonant designs, and tons of Easter eggs for devoted fans. Think banana-leaf wallpaper, couch-cushion florals, cheesecake motifs, and those unforgettable one-liners. Every piece is designed to help you connect with your favorite characters in a brand-new way.
Some of the standout pieces include handmade mosaic portrait garments featuring the Girls’ faces, crafted in Daniel’s unique textile portraiture style. You can also snag a “St. Olaf 40” varsity jacket (a nod to Rose’s sweet charm!), totes and graphic tees proudly declaring “I’m a Blanche” or “I’m a Sophia,” and even cheesecake-covered sweatshirts. Plus, there are vibrant banana-leaf-print bomber jackets and matching short sets that scream
Miami! Every single item is made to be worn with heart, so make sure to check out the limited collection starting July 31 at zerowastedaniel.com or in-store.
Step Into the Golden Girls’ World!
But wait, there’s more! From July 31 through August 17, the Zero Waste Daniel flagship shop at 257 Varet Street in Brooklyn is transforming into a Golden Girls-inspired dreamscape. This isn’t just a pop-up; it’s a full-on immersive experience that’s part fashion destination, part fan tribute. Walking in will feel like stepping right onto the set, but with that distinct ZWD twist.
Get ready to soak in pastel-hued interiors, complete with banana-leaf wallpaper, retro lounge furniture, and carefully chosen vintage accents. There will be plenty of photo-ready installations inspired by your favorite moments from the series, a shoppable thrift section styled to honor the Girls’ iconic looks, and even subtle soundscapes and scent styling to complete that full Miami immersion. Disney Cruise Line Offers 50% Off for Third and Fourth Guests on Select Sailings
Disney Cruise Line has launched a new promotional offer aimed at making family and group vacations more affordable. For a limited time, guests can receive a 50% discount on the cruise fare for the third and fourth guests sharing the same stateroom on select voyages this fall, winter, and spring.
The offer is valid for select sailings departing between October 3, 2025, and March 30, 2026. It applies to voyages aboard the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish.
To take advantage of the savings, reservations must be booked by October 12, 2025. The promotion is available for both new and existing bookings that meet the criteria, though guests with existing reservations must call the Disney Cruise Line Contact Center to have the offer applied.
As with most promotions, there are important details to consider. The discount requires two full-fare guests in the same stateroom and is only applicable to specific room categories (04A through 11C). Notably, Concierge-level staterooms and suites are excluded from this offer. It also cannot be combined with most other discounts, though it may be used in conjunction with Disney Vacation Club Points.
This offer presents a significant opportunity for families of three or four, or groups of friends, to save on a Disney cruise. With a limited number of staterooms allocated for the deal, those interested should review the eligible sailings and book before the October deadline.
Disney Starlight Parade Will Continue to Shine Twice Nightly Through August at Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom’s newest nighttime dazzler, the Disney Starlight Parade: Dream the Night Away, is lighting up the night not once, but twice, through the end of August! Guests can catch this radiant spectacle at 9:00 p.m. and again at 11:00 p.m., with performances now confirmed on most nights through August 30, 2025.
Since its shimmering debut on July 20, the Disney Starlight Parade has become the talk of the Kingdom, enchanting guests with glowing floats, whimsical characters, and a soundtrack that dreams are made of. Whether you’re Team Fairy Godmother, Team Blue Fairy, or just here for the pixie dust, there’s something in this parade for everyone.
But don’t get too starry-eyed just yet—there are a few dates to keep an eye on. Due to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there will be no Starlight performances on select nights: August 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, and 29. As the spooky season creeps in, the calendar becomes a bit patchier, so keep those pumpkin-shaped reminders handy if you’re planning your visit in September or October. It’s also likely the parade will skip nights that feature Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party later in the year.
Disney recently tried to dim the mood for Annual Passholders by requiring park reservations for Magic Kingdom visits all day, every day—an especially strict rule timed with the parade’s launch. But just one week later, Disney backtracked: as of July 28, Passholders can again visit without a reservation after 2 p.m. on most days (except weekends), or any time on designated good-to-go days.
The parade’s popularity doesn’t end at the last float. There’s a sparkling array of Starlight-themed merchandise, a new parade popcorn mix (yes, we tried it; and yes, it slaps!), and enough sweet treats to keep your Instagram glowing well past midnight.
As always, we’ll keep watching the skies (and the entertainment calendar) to see if this star continues to shine into the fall and winter months. For now, it’s safe to say that Dream the Night Away is a brilliant addition to Magic Kingdom’s nighttime lineup.
Porto’s Bakery Construction in Downtown Disney Faces Another Delay
Construction for the highly anticipated Porto’s Bakery in Downtown Disney, initially announced three years ago, has faced yet another delay. This latest postponement will also impact the temporary location of the Earl of Sandwich restaurant.
The temporary Earl of Sandwich location on the east end of the Anaheim outdoor shopping mall, which was slated to close on July 26, has received a reprieve. This extension comes as the commencement of construction for the new Porto’s Bakery at the same site has been delayed once more. Earl of Sandwich employees were informed via email on July 25 that their closure would now be pushed back by at least a month, with a possibility of further extensions.
Disneyland officials confirm that Downtown Disney is eager for construction to begin on the new Porto’s Bakery and Restaurant once the final schedule is set, noting the complex steps involved in bringing a project of this size to fruition. In the meantime, Earl of Sandwich will continue its temporary operation in the former La Brea Bakery location for an extended period this summer.
The Disneyland website currently lists operating hours for the temporary Earl of Sandwich location through September 8, which is the latest date visible on the resort’s calendar. Previously, permits filed in April with the Anaheim Planning and Building Department outlined the demolition of the 2,600-square-foot La Brea Bakery (the current Earl of Sandwich site) and two adjacent Disneyland ticket booths, along with utility capping and foundation removal.
Despite these plans, the Earl of Sandwich Tavern in Downtown Disney had announced in June its intention to lay off 167 employees and permanently close its temporary location to facilitate the construction of the new Porto’s Bakery.
While the temporary Earl of Sandwich pop-up trailer near the Star Wars Trading Post will remain open, the new permanent Earl of Sandwich location on Downtown Disney’s west end is now expected to debut this winter. Disneyland officials anticipate sharing more details about Porto’s Bakery’s plans in the future, as its continued delay impacts these timelines.
