Mr. Wolf Sneaks Into Universal Orlando’s DreamWorks Land Just in Time for “The Bad Guys 2”
There’s a new smooth-talking rogue in town, and he’s not here to pull off a heist… well, maybe just one more photo op.
Mr. Wolf, the effortlessly charming leader of The Bad Guys, has officially arrived at Universal Studios Florida, just in time to celebrate the theatrical release of The Bad Guys 2, which hit theaters August 1. Guests visiting DreamWorks Land can now meet the dashing gray outlaw himself, as he joins the growing lineup of fan-favorite characters in the land.
If you’re not familiar with this lupine lawbreaker, here’s the lowdown: Mr. Wolf (aka Moe Wolf) is the quick-witted, fast-talking mastermind voiced by Sam Rockwell in the Bad Guys films. In the original movie, his life of crime was upended when he discovered that doing good might just be the biggest score of all. Now in The Bad Guys 2, Mr. Wolf and his crew, including Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark, and Ms. Tarantula, are walking the straight and narrow… until they’re pulled into a wild new caper by a mysterious gang of antiheroes known as The Bad Girls.
At Universal, Mr. Wolf is making appearances at select times daily, so be sure to check the Universal Orlando app when you arrive. You’ll find him in the DreamWorks character zone—conveniently located near the entrance to DreamWorks Land, just across from the Animal Actors theater and close to the E.T. Adventure.
His arrival marks yet another update to the freshly launched DreamWorks Land, which already includes meet-and-greets with beloved characters from Shrek, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and more.
So whether you’re a fan of DreamWorks animation, a devoted follower of The Bad Guys, or just on the lookout for your next selfie with a star, don’t miss your chance to catch Mr. Wolf in action. And remember—he may be trying to be good these days, but he’s still got that criminal charm that might just steal your heart.

A Deep Dive Into the Haunted Houses of Universal Orlando’s Ultimate Scream Fest, Halloween Horror Nights 34
At Halloween Horror Nights, the haunted houses aren’t just the main attraction—they’re the soul of the event, drenched in fog, blood, and sheer creative terror. Each one is a multi-sensory nightmare, crafted with Hollywood-level detail and designed to put you right inside the horror.
For HHN34, Universal Orlando is unleashing 10 haunted houses, each more twisted and terrifying than the last. From video game icons and classic slasher legends to original nightmares stitched together by the darkest corners of the creative team’s imagination, 2025’s lineup delivers on both scares and storytelling.
Are you brave enough to face all 10 haunted houses this year? Lets dive into each one and find out!
IP-based House| FNAF Fan-Favorite Characters Come To Life
The fan-favorite horror game turned Blumhouse box office smash comes to life, and it’s shaping up to be just as disturbing as you’d hope. Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria is no Chuck E. Cheese nostalgia trip. Here, you’ll roam the darkened halls after hours as possessed animatronics come alive to stalk you. Thanks to animatronic design by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, expect unsettlingly lifelike figures like Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy to lurch out with mechanical precision and soulless glares. This one is a jumpscare factory, in the best (and worst) way.
Straight from Vault-Tec’s worst-case scenario handbook, Fallout drops you into a world gone nuclear. You’ll start in a claustrophobic underground vault, where every flickering light and air vent could be your last. But it only gets worse as you emerge into the Wasteland, dodging Raiders, mutants, and the imposing Brotherhood of Steel. The Ghoul, a bounty hunter straight out of the Amazon Prime series, stalks your every move. Expect incredible world-building, broken tech, and haunting silence punctuated by sudden, terrifying violence. Don’t forget to bring your Pip-Boy along to help you survive the night!
🔪 Jason Universe
IP-based | Classic slasher terror reimagined
Camp Crystal Lake has never been more deadly. “Jason Universe” is a full-scale tribute to the Friday the 13th legacy, blending scenes from multiple films into one continuous, blood-soaked nightmare. You’ll trek through moonlit forests, dilapidated cabins, and Jason’s grotesque lair. Each room escalates the tension until you’re face-to-hockey-mask with the unstoppable force of nature himself. With shadowy lighting, water effects, and classic horror soundtrack cues, this house feels like walking into a VHS tape you might not make it out of.
🤡 Terrifier
IP-based | Gore overload meets funhouse of death
Art the Clown is here—and he brought every grotesque idea Damien Leone ever dreamed up. Based on all three Terrifier films, this house doesn’t tiptoe around its reputation. It’s aggressive, it’s disgusting, and it’s a sensory overload. You’ll wander through twisted carnival tents, blood-slick bathrooms, and torture scenes so detailed they’ll linger in your nightmares. For seasoned HHN fans craving a house that truly pushes the envelope, this is the year’s most unhinged offering. This is shaping up to be an incredibly immersive house that will offer a wet or dry path for guests to choose from!
🐷 The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks
IP-based (WWE) | Surreal, psychological horror
This isn’t a wrestling crossover, it’s a full plunge into a symbolic fever dream! Uncle Howdy leads you through warped environments inspired by his crew of demented personas, like Rambling Rabbit and Abby the Witch. Abstract visuals, voice distortions, and disturbing puppetry create a dreamlike (or nightmarish) sequence of horror. It’s part mind game, part haunted house, and all unsettling. Expect narrative layers and symbolic dread rather than straight-up gore.
🎨 El Artista: A Spanish Haunting
Original | Gothic, artistic possession
Set in 19th-century Spain, this house tells the tale of a tormented painter who retreats to a rural manor—only to discover his canvas has a mind of its own. The art here literally comes to life, dragging you through rooms filled with cursed portraits, animated sculptures, and grotesque manifestations of creative madness. Gothic architecture, candlelit hallways, and Spanish folklore motifs make this one a visually striking and deeply haunting experience.
🔥 Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters
Original | Western horror with a supernatural twist
Picture an Old West town being invaded by lava demons. Now picture two supernatural bounty hunters (Hatchet and Chains) trying to stop them. It’s cowboys vs. hellspawn in a house that mixes saloon brawls, dusty jail cells, and volcanic terror. Practical fire effects, glowing lava veins in the walls, and intense creature design will create a chaotic, action-packed haunt that leans heavily into spectacle without losing the scares.
🧸 Dolls: Let’s Play Dead
Original | Shrinking-room psychological horror
You’re not in a toy store, you are the toy. Shrunk down to doll size, you must navigate a monstrous playroom where a twisted little girl has taken her broken toys and made them worse. Think melted plastic, stitched-together monstrosities, and baby dolls with eyes that move too realistically. Every room is childlike on the surface, but deeply wrong underneath. One of the creepiest house themes of the year, with an emphasis on unnerving environments and disturbing soundscapes.
🪦 Grave of Flesh
Original | Body horror in the underworld
This house starts at your funeral and ends… well, wherever your nightmares do. After your casket closes, you descend into a rotting, flesh-hungry underworld where the walls drip, creatures claw at your limbs, and no part of you is safe. Claustrophobic tunnels, flesh-pile creatures, and oppressive darkness make this a body-horror lover’s dream (or nightmare). Expect lots of goo, practical effects, and more than a few surprises in the dark.
🐺 Gálkn: Monsters of the North
Original | Norse mythology meets primal horror
Set in a remote northern village blanketed in snow, “Gálkn” summons a haunting tale of ancient evil rising from the ice. The monstrous Gálkn and its demonic horde terrorize villagers—and guests—as you try to escape before being added to the legend. Snow effects, bone-chilling wind, and haunting folklore-inspired creature design make this one of the year’s most atmospheric haunts. It’s Frozen meets The Witch, with claws.
This year’s Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses blend IP titans like Jason and Freddy’s with bold originals like El Artista and Gálkn, showing that Universal isn’t afraid to explore new storytelling frontiers while delivering fan-favorite frights. With everything from slasher classics to surreal psychological horror, there’s something to terrify every type of guest.
So lace up your boots, pack your courage, and choose your path through these 10 nightmares. Just remember: in these houses, you’re not watching the horror, you’re living it.
Stage 1 Company Store Demolished as Monsters, Inc. Land Moves Full Steam Ahead at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Well, the walls have come tumbling down on another section of the iconic Muppets land at Hollywood Studios. The former Stage 1 Company Store, once home to a treasure trove of Muppet-themed merchandise, has now been completely demolished as construction surges forward on the highly anticipated Monsters, Inc. land at the park.
Aerial photos captured by Bioreconstruct on X show the site now reduced to rubble, with two excavators actively clearing debris where the green awning-topped Muppets store once stood. The shop had been closed to regular guests since the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020, reopening briefly for special events. A demolition permit filed by Walt Disney Imagineering in May 2025 sealed its fate, and now it’s officially lights out for Stage 1.
But the demolition didn’t stop at the gift shop. Also visible in the aerial images is the removal of a structural facade frame behind the gates, as well as significant pavement teardown near the MuppetVision 3D entrance, evidence that Imagineering is going full throttle on transforming this entire corner of the park.
This major overhaul is part of the groundwork for the new Monsters, Inc. land, which promises some serious scream-worthy thrills. Headlining the land will be the long-rumored “door coaster,” featuring Disney’s first-ever vertical lift. A second attraction, “The Glob,” will debut as a new theater show housed in the former MuppetVision 3D theater. Dining and shopping options themed to the world of Monstropolis will also be part of the land’s offerings.
As for the Muppets? Don’t worry, they’re not being evicted from the park entirely. The Muppet crew is reportedly moving down the boulevard to take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which currently stars Aerosmith. While Disney hasn’t shared when the current version of that ride will close, it’s clear that a Kermit-led makeover is in the works for Sunset Boulevard.
So long, Stage 1 Company Store—you were a staple of quirky, pun-filled merchandise and rubber chicken souvenirs. But in true Disney fashion, where one curtain closes, another door opens… perhaps with a scream.
The Boathouse Boatique Reopens at Disney Springs with a Fresh New Look and Special Anniversary Merch
Ahoy, shoppers! The Boathouse Boatique at Disney Springs has officially reopened its doors after a stylish refurbishment—and it’s looking shipshape and ready to set sail on a whole new retail voyage.
Anchored right next to The Boathouse restaurant (and just steps from the dock of those famous Amphicar Tours), this nautically themed boutique has long been a fan-favorite for boat buffs, souvenir seekers, and rubber duck aficionados. Now, after a refresh just in time for The Boathouse’s 10th anniversary, the Boatique is back and better than ever, with a layout that feels more open, modern, and breezy.
One of the most noticeable changes hits you right at the entryway. The old wooden compass rose flooring has been swapped out for a brighter white-and-blue tile version that really pops against the store’s dark wood finishes. It sets the tone for a crisp, coastal feel that continues throughout the shop.
The interior layout has also been smartly reworked. Gone are the bulky central floor units, replaced by sleeker shelving mounted on the support columns—complete with built-in lighting that adds a little extra sparkle to the Boatique’s curated displays. The updated cash wrap area even includes small tubs of grab-and-go merch for impulse buys while you check out.
On the right side of the store, you’ll find new touchscreen kiosks where guests can browse and purchase photos from their Amphicar adventure. You can scan your photo card or use your MagicBand or My Disney Experience app to link the pics to your Disney PhotoPass account.
As for the merch itself, the Boatique continues to offer a mix of nautical-themed gifts, Boathouse-branded clothing, vintage-style diving helmets, accessories, and plenty of those signature rubber duckies. High shelves are lined with charming sea-inspired décor, and special adjustable blue shelving gives the displays a colorful twist.
And if you’re in the mood for something exclusive, don’t miss the limited-edition 10th anniversary merchandise that’s just dropped—including collectible pins, bell ornaments, and wood stickers celebrating a decade of dining and cruising at this waterfront gem.
And yes—your favorite in-store quote still greets guests above the doorway to the restaurant: “There are small ships and there are big ships, but the best ships of all are friendships.”
Whether you’re docking in for souvenirs or just browsing before your next cruise (or cocktail), the Boathouse Boatique’s refreshed look makes it a must-stop shop on your Disney Springs itinerary.
