‘Thor: Love and Thunder‘ Set Photos Reveal New Asgard. Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Thor: Love and Thunder in 2022, but in the meantime, we’ll have to settle for sneak peeks through photos and videos from the cast and crew!
The Daily Mail featured new photos from the set of Thor: Love and Thunder which features buildings that resemble those of Tønsberg, but with an additional new feature. A new business called “Asgard Tours” which features a Norse-inspired Air Ship that includes 14 seats similar to those featured on spacecraft in the MCU.

LEGO Announces “Everyone is Awesome” LEGO Pride Set Coming this June. To celebrate Pride Month, LEGO has announced their first LGBTQ+ LEGO set. The new set is named “Everyone is Awesome” and features 11 figurines and is made out of 346 pieces. According to LEGO.com, “The new LEGO® Everyone is Awesome set celebrates positivity and kindness in our families, our communities and our world.”
The LEGO site also shares the companies mission statement regarding diversity in the workplace which states: “We’re committed to building a diverse organization with a unique sense of belonging to reach and inspire every child in the world. We work with a broad definition of diversity, from gender, ethnicity, background, and experience to other dimensions such as lifestyle and family responsibilities. Hello darlings! Ready to be evil but fabulous this weekend? We have a Cruella De Daiquiri Cocktail recipe that you will love!
Inspired by our favorite fashionista, this cocktail features white rum and raspberry and looks amazing! It’s a great drink to have with your friends once Cruella premiers on May 28th on Disney Plus.
This cocktail was created by @mindful_mixologist and is the first one of a series of Disney inspired cocktails he will soon release, we can’t wait! But for now, treat yourself and enjoy this Cruella De Daiquiri recipe:
Bring to a boil whilst stirring to dissolve the sugar. Once the sugar has dissolved, throw in the raspberries and simmer for 10 minutes.
Strain well then bottle the mixture.
For Vanilla and Charcoal Tuile
Mix the oil, water, vanilla syrup and activated charcoal in a jug. Stir well.
Heat a large non stick frying pan, once hot and pour a thin later of your tuile mix onto the dry pan and it will to start to bubble away.
Once the bubbles subside, use a palette knife to lift your tuile from the pan. It should be crips and filled with geometric holes in a interesting way with a somewhat fashionable Avant Garde look.
For The Cocktail
Add black gel food coloring to the inside of a coupe in a Dalmatian dot format.
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake well with ice.
Fine strain into your black dotted coupe.
Garnish with a raspberry and vanilla and charcoal tuile

Earlier in May, we were able to glance at the Spaceship Earth Cookie Jars for ourselves and it was love at first sight! Check out our video from Instagram below!
The cookie jar retails for $55.00, and is a very large in size as it stands at over a half foot tall. Made out of ceramic, with a glaze finish. This is the ultimate Disney item for your kitchen, complete with a lid that has a silicone gasket for a snug fit. After all, if our cookies are going to be grand and miraculous, they have to be fresh!

Theme park hours for Walt Disney World Resort have now been released for the first week of August. Previous hours were only available through July 31, 2021. Now you can find hours for August 1-7, 2021.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 8 am to 6 pm daily.

New Marvel Loki Minnie Mouse ears have magically appeared at Walt Disney World! Just in time for the Loki series coming to Disney+ too. We love these ears almost as much as we love Loki!
These new green and gold Minnie ears are designed after Loki’s horned helmet. Now we can show our love for the God of Mischief with these ears! The ears even have the word ‘mischievous’ embroidered on the side. Maybe we can even get others to bow to us while wearing these bad boys.
Painting continues of the roofs in Fantasyland, as Disney World preps for the 50th Anniversary. We were on hand this week at the Magic Kingdom to check out any progress that has been made. We saw painters out early on Thursday. The back of the castle and Fantasyland are looking great with the newer paint job happening. What looks to be an off-white color over top of the beige brown-looking paint scheme. The Fantasyland area is really looking clean and polished lately. With Casey’s water play area getting a fresh coat also. Check out more of the photos below.
Beginning Oct. 1, Walt Disney World Resort will throw “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” in honor of our 50th anniversary, bringing new experiences to our four theme parks and beyond. This milestone is such a big deal, we’ve even coined a new word – “EARidescence” – to describe what you’ll see when you visit. Our Disney teams are creating all sorts of new decorations that will shimmer and sparkle all day and into the night.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort has become a interesting talking point lately.
Okay, before we get serious here, can we all just discuss the fact that the South Park version of Come Sail Away is playing in my head while writing this? YOU GUYS! Maybe it is the Pirate ship interior look?

Okay, enough fun for now. Let’s move on shall we? Disney’s Contemporary Resort has now put scrim around the whole interior to protect guests while it undergoes renovation. Back in February we first reported about the refurbishments about to happen, and it looks like they are moving along pretty quickly. While some Main Tower rooms will be unavailable during the refurbishment, most resort areas and amenities will still be available for guests to enjoy. The scrim installation is there to keep the dust and debris away from guests as they enjoy the lobby areas. The monorail will still be running daily.
What will the rooms look like once construction is complete is the real question! Also just to make sure everyone knows, Disney has stated that the Murals, done by artist Mary Blair, will not be touched and are staying.
We have not heard the official word, but the rumor and leaked photos point to an Incredibles theme for some rooms. We know feelings have been running high on this one by the comments we have received. Some want the Contemporary to stay exactly how it is, others want a more contemporary look.
Avengers Campus is opening in Disney California Adventure in just 2 weeks! This new land will have exciting features for the superhero in all of us. Disney has been sharing sneak peeks lately and yesterday the Quinjet was being tested!
The Quinjet aircraft sits above what is now known as Avengers Headquarters. It is a future E-ticket attraction where guests will board a Quinjet and head to Wakanda to fight alongside the Avengers. The attraction will open at a later date.
Disney was testing the lights and exhaust sounds of the Quinjet. The Quinjet will be similar to the aircraft in Galaxy’s Edge. The aircraft will have lights and sounds similar to the X-Wing in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Disneyland Resort is following in Walt Disney World’s footsteps and ending temperature screenings.
When the Downtown Disney District reopened last summer, the resort implemented temperature screenings for all guests entering the property. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher was not allowed in. Starting June 15, 2021, the Disneyland Resort will end onsite temperature screenings.

Since reopening, we have considered guidance from public health authorities, government agencies, and our own team of health and safety experts as we assess and update health and safety measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Based on the advice of the CDC and our local health officials, and given Orange County is now in the Yellow Tier and the State of California is preparing to reopen the economy on June 15—the Disneyland Resort will end onsite temperature screenings for Guests and Cast Members starting June 15, 2021.
We will continue to monitor the guidance of public health authorities and government agencies going forward and will make appropriate adjustments in the future based on that guidance.”
California Governor Gavin Newsom has also said the state will be fully opening on June 15, 2021. More changes might be coming to Disneyland. Stay tuned for more updates!
