The Mandalorian and Grogu are Now in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World
To celebrate Season 3 of the Mandalorian on Disney+ which starts today, Disney has brought The Mandalorian and Grogu to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World!
Disney Rebooting the Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day Movie
Disney+ is rebooting the movie Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day Movie with a “Latino-centric” adaptation of author Judith Viorst’s best-selling 1972 children’s book. Disney revealed that Jesse Garcia (Narcos: Mexico, Sons of Anarchy) will join Eva Longoria and George Lopez in a reboot film.
Garcia has already appeared in the 2014 Disney theatrical version starring Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner. Garcia played Dwayne in the 2014 version but will take over Frank’s role in the film’s hard reboot. The film’s logline reads, “Alexander tells the story of 11-year-old Alexander Garcia, who thinks he has the worst luck in the world. When his family sets off on a road trip to California, he’s pretty sure disaster awaits at every corner. His anxiety only increases when a family secret is revealed.”
Marvin Lemus is set to direct the straight-to-streaming Alexander, with Matt Lopez writing the script. Lopez helped reimagine “Father of the Bride” for HBO and Disney’s Escape to Witch Mountain (2009) with Dwayne Johnson. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day does not yet have a release date on Disney+. Stay tuned for more updates on this title and exclusive Disney content.

Disney is kicking off the 95th Oscars season in style with limited edition photo ops and themed food items.
The 95th Acadamy Awards will be held at 8 p.m on March 12, 2023. Disney parks is getting in on the Oscars fun with limited edition photo ops and food at both the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.
Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort will want to head to Holywood Studios to get in on the Oscars celebration now through March 12. ABC Commissary is featuring a tropical tart topped with an Oscars chocolate coin, and a specialty popcorn blend can be found at carts throughout the park.
Guests of Disneyland resort will have several more Oscar-themed options to choose from. The famous custom Oscar statue that was created for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be on display at Carthay Circle Restaurant from through March 20.
For food options, guests can choose between three limited-time funnel cakes at Award Wieners in Hollywood Land, which can be washed down with a limited-edition chocolate brownie milkshake from Schmoozies. These limited-edition food items will be available from March 10-12.
For additional photo ops, guests will want to head to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. The limited edition photo op, available through March 15, features a red carpet, backdrop, and an Oscar statue that is so tall you will find yourself looking up to see its face.
These limited-edition items are only around for a few short weeks, so be sure to check them out before they are gone!

Twitter user DLP Rescue Rangers shared a look at the concept art for the Beauty and the Beast themed lobby.
The lobby is inspired by the library from the film with a portrait of the couple above the fireplace. The crystal chandelier in the center of the room spirals around an image of Beast’s castle. The candelabras around the room resemble Lumiere and there’s a clock on the mantle resembling Cogsworth.
The guest rooms at the hotel are also getting a transformation and being rethemed to various princesses. The Disneyland Hotel will reopen next year.

Bring Your own Device TV streaming now available on Disney Wish
The Disney Cruise Line Blog is reporting that Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) TV streaming is now available on the Disney Wish. This service does not require a paid internet package.
Guests who want to use this service can do so when connected to DCL-GUEST. The service is found on DCL Navigator App in the More tab then by clicking on Stateroom TV Streaming.
If you want to use a device that doesn’t have the Navigator app, you can type in the following URL: mxms.dcl.disney.go.com. You can then browse and Watch TV, or titles from the Disney On Demand library.
