Orlando Airport Honors Muppet*Vision 3D with Hilarious Statler and Waldorf Parody

Orlando International Airport (MCO) recently paid a unique and humorous tribute to the beloved Muppet*Vision 3D attraction, which closed its doors at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 7. The airport released a parody video featuring human actors portraying the iconic curmudgeons, Statler and Waldorf, delivering their signature brand of sarcastic commentary to unsuspecting travelers.

In one memorable exchange, a cheerful traveler exclaims excitement over a “glorious three-hour layover,” to which Waldorf retorts, “You’ve got a minute and a half!” Another scene features Waldorf seemingly tearing up outside the airport, only for Statler to ask if he’s “moved to tears.” Waldorf’s dry reply: “No, you old fool, it’s the curbside humidity!”

Disney Cast Members to get Final Farewell of MuppetVision D

The closure of Muppet*Vision 3D marks the end of an era at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Muppets Courtyard, which housed the attraction, is now closed to guests, with Cast Members reportedly being the final audience to experience the show. This area is slated to be transformed into a new “Monsters, Inc.” land, featuring a door coaster, much to the anticipation of Disney fans.

However, Muppets enthusiasts need not despair entirely. The beloved characters are set to find a new home within the park, taking over the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster attraction in 2026, promising a new chapter for the Muppets’ presence at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. MCO’s creative tribute serves as a fitting farewell to a cherished attraction while also celebrating the enduring legacy of the Muppets.
