Orange County, Florida, has once again reached the “High Tier” for Covid-19 cases. Earlier this month the county was listed as in the “substantial” tier but recently the White House named it a hot spot for cases.

As of yesterday, the county had 1,412 cases and a 5.89% positivity rate for the disease, with a case rate of 101.33 per 100,000 residents.
Covid-19 cases are on the rise as travelers descend on both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort for the holidays. Crowds are high at both resorts.

Currently, guests and Cast Members at Walt Disney World are required to wear face coverings at all indoor locations except while actively eating or drinking. At Universal Orlando Resort face coverings are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests and Team Members.
