Olaf is Getting His own Disney+ Series to Recap Disney Classics. Disney fans were happily surprised to learn that what started off as a gag in Frozen II has now led to the development of a spin-off series starring our favorite huggable snowman, Olaf. Olaf will be recapping classic Disney stories in his own unique way similar to his iconic scenes in Frozen II where he caught up the Northuldra and the Arendellian soldiers about the events of the first film and then again at the end of the movie where he recaps the second film’s story to Marshmellow and the Snowgies inside Elsa’s North Mountain Ice Palace.

Fans loved the recaps so much that the idea of Olaf retelling more than just the Frozen stories went viral several times online after the release of Frozen II. With the pandemic, Disney did release a series of Olaf shorts called “At Home with Olaf” that took the internet by storm and fueled the idea of his own series. Olaf has also been the focus of some Frozen short films like Olaf’s Frozen Adventure and Once Upon a Snowman, so a new series starring this flurry of fun character seems like a natural addition to the Frozen franchise.

The new Disney+ Original Shorts series will be called “Olaf Presents” and was shared by the voice of Olaf himself, Josh Gad who posted the news to Twitter along with the caption, “Ask and ye shall receive. Get ready for Olaf to recap some of your favorite Disney classics. #OlafPresents only on @disneyplus“
