Toy Story 5’s Lilypad Arrives at Alien Swirling Saucers in Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting ready to spin up a brand-new beat in Toy Story Land, as Lilypad from Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 5 has officially been installed outside Alien Swirling Saucers. The oversized tablet character is now perched on a large orange toy block near the attraction and currently displays her “The Pond” interface, though she is not active just yet.

Disney previously announced that Lilypad will officially make her debut on September 25, bringing new music and interactive entertainment to the area. Once activated, Lilypad will take over DJ duties at Alien Swirling Saucers with reimagined versions of Toy Story favorites including “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “We Belong Together,” and “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away.” Two new tracks, “Pizza Planet Promo” and “Spin It Back, Lilypad,” will also join the playlist.
The update will not be limited to the ride itself. Guests passing through Toy Story Land will be able to hear Lilypad’s music between entertainment offerings, help her solve puzzles, guess what she is drawing on her app, and watch “home videos” featuring Toy Story characters. The attraction’s marquee has not yet received the planned “Lilypad Jams” banner seen in concept art, so there may still be a few finishing touches coming before the September 25 launch.
