Phineas and Ferb Return This Summer
The long-awaited Phineas and Ferb revival is almost upon us! After years of anticipation, Disney has announced that the new series will premiere this summer. This marks a major comeback for the beloved show, which ended its run in 2015. The revival, confirmed in 2023, is set to deliver two brand new seasons.

The Phineas and Ferb revival is shaping up to be a treat for fans, with both the original creative team and voice cast returning. Disney Television Animation has now confirmed a summer 2025 premiere, as announced by co-creator Dan Povenmire. This follows last year’s news that new episodes were coming sometime in 2025.
At SCAD TVfest, Phineas and Ferb co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh explained that summer is the ideal time to debut the new season, given the show’s focus on summer vacation. They expressed excitement about the season, calling it their favorite yet, and confirmed a return to the show’s classic style.
Picking up a year after the original series ended, the Phineas and Ferb revival will continue the story with 40 new episodes. These episodes, which have been referred to as a fifth season, will premiere this summer on both the Disney Channel and Disney+, though the release schedule is still pending.
Original Phineas and Ferb creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh are returning for the revival, along with the original voice cast. This includes Povenmire as Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Marsh as Major Monogram, Martella as Phineas, Errigo Jr. as Ferb, Tisdale as Candace, Rhea as Linda, Baker as Perry, and Stoner as Isabella.
The new Phineas and Ferb season will follow the inventive stepbrothers through another 104 days of summer. Candace remains determined to bust them, while Perry the Platypus continues his double life as Agent P, thwarting Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s plans to conquer the Tri-State area.
