Epcot’s Festival of the Arts must be one of the best times of the year to walk around the park. The art and food are all masterpieces, and there are lots of unique experiences that have more ingenuity than the typical Epcot festival. Even the photo ops are inventive! The newest photo ops are bringing in some extra magic for you to take home from the festival too.
There are two locations where you can find these magic shots. One photopass photographer is located by the new pylons and the other is on the way to The Seas with Nemo and friends. Neither one tends to have a wait because they are standing by a boring black wall. Very unassuming! However, it’s worth your time and that black wall is important.
One of the magic shots adds in a chalk drawing of Spaceship Earth on the wall behind you. Another shot puts a rainbow above you. And the third and final shot puts Figment wings on one member of your party. All of these shots are cute and artsy! I, for one, wouldn’t have known these were digital additions if I hadn’t seen the plain black wall beforehand.
Make sure you have your Magic Band ready to scan so that your photos can be made available on the Disney World app. Photopass photographers are great at getting kids and adults alike to pose and smile for the camera, so be sure to stop even if pictures aren’t your thing! You’ll want a souvenir of Epcot’s Festival of the Arts in the years to come.
