Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays started this weekend. The festival brings many forms of seasonal entertainment to the theme park, including Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition scavenger hunt. This is a fun scavenger hunt for guests to play while traveling through World Showcase.
Playing this Christmas scavenger hunt is a good way to pass the time while you wait for Santa to pass through World Showcase, or if you’re working on trying all the cookies on the Cookie Stroll. The game’s theme is about Frozen’s Olaf gathering up holiday items in each country to learn more about holiday traditions. There are thirteen (13) hidden Olaf’s to find and each country in World Showcase has one.
Look everywhere! Because each Olaf is hidden fairly well. Keep an eye out as you explore each country. The stickers that come with the map represent each Olaf and features him carrying a holiday item. Once you find all the hidden Olaf’s and identify their locations, then you can go claim a special prize.
This scavenger hunt is similar to the other two seasonal games Epcot offers for Easter and Food & Wine Festival. These scavenger hunts are similar in nature and you can claim your prize when you complete your map.
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition is optional for guests and costs $7.99 plus tax to play. It is eligible for AP discount. You can purchase your game map at Disney Traders, Mouse Gear, World Traveler, Port of Entry, Stroller Rental, and the merchandise cart in the Canada Pavilion. To claim your prize, then bring the completed game map back to any of these store locations.
There are three Frozen themed souvenir cups offered as prizes and you can choose one of them to bring home. Which one will you pick to bring home??
