An exciting new parade is coming to Disneyland! Starting February 28th, 2020, the new “Magic Happens” parade makes its grand debut in Disneyland park.
The all-new parade celebrates the magic and music of several Disney animated movies. Mickey Mouse leads the parade down Main Street, U.S.A. with spectacular floats and colorful characters to entertain crowds. Singer-songwriter Todrick Hall is serving as a co-composer for the parade’s soundtrack and is also creating an original song for “Magic Happens.” We have a preview of what’s to come with the new day-time spectactular.
Characters from “Moana” will join the parade with two exciting floats. Moana sails down the route with her voyager canoe and dazzling water-based float. Maui will make his Disneyland debut in this parade, too. Maui and Pua will ride behind Moana’s float.
A new float dedicated to “Frozen 2” will be a part of “Magic Happens.” Anna, Elsa, and Olaf will be joined with Nokk, the mystical water spirit from the new movie.
“Coco” will also feature prominently in the show. Miguel takes point by strumming his guitar for guests. The float features a bridge between the Land of the Living and Land of the Dead. Colorful marigolds and spirit animals will accompany the festive music!
Lastly, we know the grand finale of “Magic Happens” will be a Sleeping Beauty inspired float. The concept artwork is certainly majestic! Princess Aurora’s dress will be stunning guests with how it shifts between its iconic blue and pink hues. The trio of fairies will delight families, too!
We can’t wait for “Magic Happens” to debut at Disneyland!
