Animal Kingdom is gearing up for it’s new extended hours that are set to begin Memorial Day Weekend, and guests are getting excited for the new water show Jungle Book: Alive with Magic that is temporarily holding Rivers of Light’s place in the evening line-up until it’s ready.
With the addition of the new nighttime water show Jungle Book: Alive with Magic at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, it only seems fitting that we hear from Kenny the Pirate that there will soon be new dining package options to go along with the new show, similar to Fantasmic Dining Packages that are currently available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new dining packages will offer a combination of a meal as well as preferred seating for the Jungle Book: Alive with Magic water show.
It appears there will be both quick service as well as sit down dining options available for the new packages. However, you need to remember that you must purchase a Jungle Book Dining Package for these benefits, regular dining reservations will not apply to this promotion.
If you’d like to do a quick service option, you can dine at Flame Tree Barbeque where the price will be $23.42 per adult, and $12.77 per child.
Package includes choice of one (1) entrée with three sides, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage, and reserved seating for The Jungle Book: Alive With Magic show. Guests will book a dining time, even though it is a quick service restaurant. Guests should arrive at their reserved time and they will select their meal and pay at the location.
Reservations for Flame Tree will be available starting at 2:30pm until 1 hour 15 minutes prior to the show time. Guests will receive their show credential at the location.
If you’d rather sit down for your dining option, then you can eat at Tusker House where the price will be $44.73 per adult, and $26.63 per child.
Package includes one (1) buffet meal, and reserved seating for Rivers of Light show. Guests must dine 2.5 hours prior to show start as they will receive their show credential at the dining location.
Kenny also hints that Tusker House will be accepting the dining plan for this package, but we will notify you of more specifics when the new packages are officially announced and we know more.
I think the addition of a quick-service option to a dining package for a nighttime show is a great option. Which restaurant would you choose to eat at before the show?
