New Soarin’ Across America Attraction Coming to Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland

Get ready for takeoff because a brand-new airborne journey is coming to one of Disney’s most beloved attractions. Soarin’ is officially receiving a complete reimagining that will take guests on a spectacular flight over the United States. This new experience, titled Soarin’ Across America, is scheduled to debut at Walt Disney World on May 26, 2026, and at Disneyland Resort on July 2, 2026.

A New Bi-Coastal Adventure

This updated offering will span the entire country, showcasing the United States from sea to shining sea. The film will highlight a diverse range of locations, from the country’s breathtaking natural wonders to its most famous and iconic cityscapes.

Bringing the Journey to Life

Disney is leaning into the classic elements that have made Soarin’ a fan favorite for decades. Guests can expect the familiar sensation of flight paired with an entirely new musical score and fresh scents to match the scenery. Walt Disney Imagineering is currently in the process of capturing footage from more than a dozen stunning locations across the nation to ensure a truly immersive experience.

Celebrating the Nation’s 250th Birthday

Whether you are boarding your flight at EPCOT in Florida or Disney California Adventure in California, this new version of the attraction serves as a tribute to the heart and spirit of the United States. The launch of the attraction is timed to coincide with the country’s massive 250th birthday celebration, joining a lineup of other patriotic offerings across the parks.

Cast Member & Annual Passholder Previews

Cast Member previews are now officially underway at EPCOT, giving the first lucky flyers a chance to experience the new patriotic journey. The Land Pavilion has already debuted a brand-new look for the occasion, featuring red, white, and blue stars-and-stripes decor at the attraction’s entrance to match the “Disney Celebrates America” theme.

For those eager to fly, Annual Passholder previews are scheduled for May 19 and 20, while the general public will be able to join the standby queue starting May 26. In the meantime, guests can enjoy a new National Geographic-themed trivia challenge that has been added to the queue to keep everyone entertained before takeoff.
