Butterbeer for All! New Butterbeer Bar Opens at Universal CityWalk Orlando
Accio cold one! Butterbeer lovers rejoice — for the first time ever, you can now sip your favorite wizarding beverage outside of the Universal Orlando theme parks thanks to the magical new Butterbeer bar tucked inside the expanded Universal Studios Store at CityWalk.
That’s right — no park ticket, no problem. Whether you’re a Muggle on a mission or a casual wizarding fan making a pit stop, this is your new go-to spot to get your Butterbeer fix year-round.

A Bar Worthy of the Three Broomsticks
Located in the newly expanded Wizarding World of Harry Potter section at the back of the store, the Butterbeer bar is a sight to behold. Pass through a grand archway and you’ll find yourself transported into a rustic, barrel-lined room where chandeliers glimmer overhead and barrels are stacked high like you’re prepping for a Hogwarts feast.
Front and center is the Butterbeer counter, styled like a pub straight out of Hogsmeade. The wall behind it is stacked with faux Butterbeer barrels, and the mirrored menu above the counter offers both cold and frozen Butterbeer (sorry hot Butterbeer lovers, hot is not yet available here!) I It’s the only place outside of the parks where you can score this sweet, butterscotch-y treat.
Merch That’ll Make You Say Mischief Managed
The shop isn’t just about sipping — there’s also plenty to snag for your shelves at home. Shelves (and barrels!) are packed with Butterbeer-themed merch, from golden steins to Honeydukes sweets. Highlights include:
- Gold Butterbeer steins for $37.99 — shiny, collectible, and totally worthy of a vault at Gringotts
- Honeydukes candy displays and branded merchandise to satisfy your sweet tooth
- The all-new Time Turner popcorn bucket, also available here before Epic Universe’s grand opening
Even the displays are themed — with mugs and shirts piled into barrels like contraband from a Honeydukes heist. A silver archway connects this immersive room with the existing Harry Potter section of the store, where you’ll find even more wizarding world merch, including wands, apparel, and collectibles.
A Sweet Preview of What’s to Come
This expansion is part of the growing Wizarding World footprint at Universal Orlando, leading up to the highly anticipated opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe on May 22. While the new land takes guests back in time to 1920s Paris, this Butterbeer bar keeps things classic — bringing that warm, familiar Hogsmeade energy to the heart of CityWalk.
