MuppetVision 3D Offers Extended Hours for Final Performance Day at Hollywood Studios
As the final curtain call approaches for MuppetVision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World is offering fans extended opportunities to experience the beloved attraction one last time. The long-running 3D show is set to permanently close after Saturday, June 7, 2025, to make way for the redevelopment of the Grand Avenue area into a new Monsters, Inc. Land.
In a departure from its traditional operating schedule, which often saw the attraction closing earlier than the rest of the park, MuppetVision 3D will operate for the entire park day on its final day. This will give more guests the chance to say their farewells to Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the entire gang.

The final operating schedule for MuppetVision 3D is as follows:
- Wednesday, June 4: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Thursday, June 5: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Friday, June 6: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday, June 7 (Final Day): 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
MuppetVision 3D, which first welcomed guests in 1991, holds a special place in Disney history as one of the final projects personally overseen by the legendary Jim Henson. It has remained a sentimental favorite for many Disney park-goers and stands as one of the few remaining attractions based on The Muppets at Walt Disney World.
The closure is part of a significant transformation of the Grand Avenue section of Hollywood Studios into Monstropolis. This new land, inspired by the “Monsters, Inc.” franchise, is slated to feature the new Monstro Theater, a restaurant themed to Harryhausen’s, and a thrilling Monsters, Inc. flying door coaster.
