With the opening of Pandora: The World of Avatar on May 27, 2017, Walt Disney World will be debuting more than just a new land and two new attractions. This date will also the mark the launch of mobile food ordering via the My Disney Experience app. Satu’li Canteen, a new fast casual eatery inside Pandora: The World of Avatar, will be one of the first restaurants at Walt Disney World to utilize the new Mobile Order system.
Guests at Satu’li Canteen will be able to place their food order remotely and pay in advance. Once they arrive at the restaurant, they simple tap the “I’m Here” button on the app which will notify the Cast Members to begin to prepare the food. When the food is ready, the guests will receive a notification to pick up the food at a designated window. As of now this service is only available for credit card paying guests. Guests on a dining plan will need to use the normal food queue.
In addition to Satu’li Canteen, mobile food ordering is expected at the following Walt Disney World parks and Disney Spring locations:
- ABC Commissary
- Backlot Express
- Columbia Harbor House
- Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
- D-Luxe Burger
- Electric Umbrella
- Flame Tree Barbecue
- Liberty Inn
- Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
- Pinocchio Village Haus
- Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant
- Tortuga Tavern
The official start date for mobile ordering has not been released for these additional restaurants, but we do know Satu’li Canteen will utilize Mobile Ordering in May.
