This year’s Minnie Mouse flowerbed is made up of white and dark purple flowers along with green plants for her face. Her bow features red and white flowers to create her iconic polka dot design.

Also included in the area are lovely swirl design flowerbeds. Those are created with multiple shades of pink flowers.
March marks Women’s History Month, a time to honor the contributions of women worldwide. Among those celebrated is Minnie Mouse, a character created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks who first appeared in “Steamboat Willie” (1928). Beyond her creation, Minnie’s voice has been brought to life by a succession of accomplished women, starting with Marjorie Ralston and continuing through Marcellite Garner, Leone LeDoux, Thelma Boardman, Ruth Clifford, Janet Waldo, and the beloved Russi Taylor, culminating in the current voice of Kaitlyn Robrock.
