Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Cancelled Due to Hurricane Helene
In anticipation of Hurricane Helene’s landfall in Florida, Walt Disney World has made the decision to cancel Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party scheduled for Thursday, September 26th.
With the hurricane expected to bring adverse weather conditions to the region, the park has decided to prioritize guest safety and experience. As a result, all tickets for the September 26th party will be refunded.

However, as a gesture to those who were looking forward to their visit, Magic Kingdom will extend its operating hours until 8 p.m., instead of the originally scheduled 6 p.m. closing time.
The official statement from Walt Disney World emphasizes their commitment to providing a great experience for guests, acknowledging the impact of the forecasted weather on outdoor entertainment offerings.

Hurricane Helene, which strengthened from a tropical storm earlier today, is projected to make landfall in the Big Bend area of Florida on Thursday. While Walt Disney World is currently operating as normal, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be closed on Thursday as a precautionary measure and is expected to resume regular operations on Friday.
