`Vacation Fun’ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Closing for Refurbishment Later This Month
According to the latest Walt Disney World refurbishment schedule, the Mickey Shorts Theater attraction will close beginning October 20, 2025, with Disney noting that it will reopen “later this year.” While no specific reopening date or project details have been announced, this marks the first extended downtime for the show since its brief refresh in spring 2024.

Located just steps away from Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Vacation Fun gives guests a chance to enjoy a lively collection of shorts in the same animation style as the ride.
