I think we all agree that the best mail to receive is our Travel documents from the Walt Disney World resort – whether it’s a confirmation of your resort reservation, Disney luggage tags or Magical Express tags – it just builds to the excitement of your upcoming trip!
Care to share any of that magic with your friends or family who aren’t with you on vacation? You can! Send them a Disney postcard. Disney postcards can be found in almost every resort or gift shop on Disney property. Here are a few tips to make your post card mailing a bit more easy:
Bring Postage Stamps. In order to save yourself some time, buy postcard postage stamps at home and bring them with you.
Pre-Print Address Labels. Another time-saving tip is to print out (or even hand-write) address labels before you leave. This solves the problem of trying to remember street addresses and zip codes of your friends and family – and it even saves you the time of writing out each address on the postcard. Just put the pre-printed label directly on the postcard and it’s ready to be mailed!
Where to Mail Postcards. The front desk at all resorts will happily take your postcards and mail them for you. Or you can head to City Hall in the Magic Kingdom and ask the Cast Member for the “Main Street Post Mark” to be put on your postcards. They will stamp your mail with a special Main Street USA – Magic Kingdom postmark! When your cards get to an actual post office, they will also be stamped with the basic “Lake Buena Vista” or “Orlando” postmark.
So take a few minutes to share the magic with loved ones back home! Send them some Mickey Mail!!
