Michael B. Jordan Shares Tribute to Chadwick Boseman on the Anniversary of His Death. Marvel Fans were shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Chadwick Boseman on August 28, 2020. Boseman passed away from multiple organ failure due to colon cancer. He was only 43 years old at the time of his passing at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side, according to his publicist Nicki Fioravante at the time.

As we hit the first anniversary of his passing, several of Chadwick’s co-stars from his films and millions of fans shared tributes online, but a notable post from Black Panther’s Micheal B. Jordan has caught the eye of nearly 2 million fans on Instagram. Jordan shared a photo of the pair attending the 2019 Academy Awards along with the caption: “Not a day goes by bro… Love and miss you but I know you still with us”

Jordan also has a photo of the two set as his profile picture and notably had a difficult time sharing in his grief publically at the time of Chadwick’s passing. The cast of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther are looking to honor Chadwick’s memory with the continuation of the Black Panther franchise and the studio has refused to recast the role of T’Challa claiming Boseman will never be replaced. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently filming in various locations, including Atlanta, GA, and Boston, MA at MIT.
