Mia’s Italian Kitchen is the Home of Endless Family-Style Dining. For $35.00 per person, you and your whole family will walk away full, happy, and highly impressed. We walked out feeling like we were part of Mia’s family, and full. Seriously it was a classic Italian restaurant, where if you went more than one time, they would all know your name and know what you had to eat last time and know your favorites. Check out the full menu here.
The Atmosphere of Mia’s Italian Kitchen and the overall vibe is true Italian. From the blue and white tiles in the bathroom to the enormous paintings on the ceiling, to the local paintings and wine bottles hanging off the walls. The tables are big enough to hold the whole family and all the food that comes out. Ever walk into a restaurant and feel like it is “Right”? From the wood fire pizza stove, being run by Pizza Chef Caeser, to the water that came in its own bottle, everything was “right”

Our Selections for the Mia’s Italian Kitchen Family-Style Dinner was:
SANGRIA – ITALIAN
our original house-made recipe with chianti, tuaca, limoncello, fresh citrus
PANE AL FORMAGGIO V –
rustic semolina loaf, roasted garlic butter, rosemary, thyme, mozzarella
GIANT MEATBALL –
12 oz. house-made all-beef meatball, marinara, fresh mozzarella, grated Parmigiano, rustic garlic toast
I will admit this out loud, and hopefully, you won’t make the same mistake at Mia’s Italian Kitchen. I seriously thought that was the whole dinner! It was a bread course and a Giant Meatball. When I say giant, I mean GIANT! with the Garlic Toast and Sauce. I was blown away at the flavors, and stuffing the meatball with mozzarella was delicious. I cannot recommend this course more.
Our main course was –
RIGATONI ALLA BOLOGNESE –
slow-braised beef bolognese, san Marzano tomatoes, ricotta
SAUSAGE & PEPPERS Brick Oven Pizza –
Italian sausage, San Marzano tomato sauce, caramelized onions, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, mixed herbs
I am not a food critic by any stretch of the imagination, but I do know good Italian food. I was lucky enough that my wife’s side of the family is all South Philly Italians. I am quite used to Italian food and Family Style. That Rigatoni Alla Bolognese was way better than I thought it could be, it was spiced right, the tomatoes tasted fresh and it was topped off with cold ricotta that gave the whole dish a wonderful mouthfeel. Best dish of the night, that was filled with best dishes!
To top off our Family-style dinner at Mia’s Italian Kitchen we had for our desert
TIRAMISU –
ladyfingers, espresso, marsala, mascarpone, cocoa, lemon

Let me tell you, this is where the pavement meets the road as the saying goes. If you call yourself Italian and serve a crude Tiramisu, you are not an Italian restaurant! Mia’s Italian Kitchen Tiramisu was so well done, the lemon was present, the espresso was wonderful and obviously had enough time to soak into the ladyfingers. What set this apart was Brandy! It hit you in the back of your mouth and sat there making your mouth water.
We have to thank Mallory for the food suggestions. We were a little overwhelmed and she was the best with her ideas. Mallory, one of the Managers of Mia’s Italian Kitchen was personable, and passionate about Mia’s and it was very contagious. Between her and the Staff at Mia’s we truly felt like we were coming back home to eat. I will take this time and say thank you to every one of her staff, and Mallory herself, along with Rosa our waitress, and her trainee Josh. Attentive and great to talk to.
So, bottom line, would we go again? Would we suggest this to our readers? Would I send my wife’s Nonna, who would not let me cook with her for years until I proved I could hang in the kitchen? Yes, Yes, and Yes!
The atmosphere felt true, the waitstaff and management were top-notch and made us feel like we belonged. The tables will hold your whole family. The food is truly Italian, with all the right flavors and spices. Also, the food is endless! You can not go wrong with endless Italian food. We are the lucky ones who get to eat it and enjoy our time with family. Especially in the Disney World area. We brought all our families down here, and Mia’s Italian Kitchen gives your and yours a chance to sit back and relax while eating and spend some quality family time together.
