Café Tu Tu Tango Serves up a Magical Dining Experience. Orlando is filled with some amazing dining experiences. It becomes hard to stand out sometimes. Not for Café Tu Tu Tango. They have been serving Tapas and Art for many years and somehow they just keep getting better. We had the opportunity to get out of the Disney bubble and head over to the restaurant to enjoy a Magical Dining Experience at Café Tu Tu Tango. Be prepared for us to rave for a few minutes. Let’s get some details out of the way. Café Tu Tu Tango is serving up a special deal right now as part of a Visit Orlando campaign called Magical Dining. This means you will get a 5-course meal for 1 price of $37.00. Each course gives you a selection of 3 different tapas to choose from. Dishes such as the Ceviche Mixto – aji Amarillo, Leche de Tigre, red onions, and cilantro; NY Strip Anticucho – crispy potatoes, huancaina, and pickled onions; and the Stuffed Piquillo Peppers (V)– manchego, Pedro Ximenez vinegar, garlic breadcrumbs, olive oil, smoked salt, and chives.

As you enter Café Tu Tu Tango you are greeted by amazing artwork all over the walls. All artwork has been created by local artists, and every piece you see hanging is available for purchase. As you are seated you will probably notice that there are Artists creating pieces in a special booth set up in the center of the restaurant. Furthermore, Artists may pop up and put on a show. We had an amazing Michael Jackson impersonator who had some dang cool dance moves.
Our Drinks were pretty interesting, while we are not big drinkers and could not tell you the difference between Chambord and champaign the recommendations from our waitress were top notch! “The Jerry” is an amazing take on a spicy margarita and went well with our diner selections.

After drink orders, it was time to order our 5 rounds of Tapas. Don’t worry that all the food will come at once, they do a great job of staggering it out and giving you time to either finish what has come out prior or until you are ready.
In no particular order, we had the following.
GRILLED FISH TACOS
honey-lime escabeche, questo cotija, corn tortillas
JERK CHICKEN SKEWERS
chargrilled, roasted pineapple salsa
BRICK OVEN PEPPERONI PAN PIZZA
san marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, hand cut pepperoni, oregano
BUTTER CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA
basmati rice, caramelized onions, roasted corn, tikka masala sauce
BUTTERMILK PANNA COTTA

Our verdict is simple. Go! Each dish we had was an experience. Plus being served Tapas style means no dish is too heavy. Yet, there seems to always be leftovers. Which they will bring out boxes for you to take home. The dishes had the right amount of spices, though obviously take a moment to read what you are ordering. The Jerk chicken was over the top good, moreover, its spice level was exactly what a jerk chicken should be. For some that could be too much. So keep that in mind.
The hype is real for Café Tu Tu Tango and with the new special running right now, it becomes so worth it. The Magical Dining Experience is a well-thought-out menu and gives you time to spend having a great conversation with whomever you choose to go with.
