Matt Damon Confirms He Will Return in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’. We are happy to report Matt Damon’s Asgardian ‘Loki’ Actor survived the events of Infinity War and Endgame and will return for another performance in the upcoming movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. Damon himself confirmed the news while speaking with Sirius XM’s The Jess Cagle Show, sharing:

“I don’t know if it’s secret or not, though everybody knows. I went down [to Australia] to shoot, and I think they sussed out, ’cause paparazzi took pictures of us, so that they sussed out what we were doing,” adding, “We were kind of reprising a cameo that Luke Hemsworth [brother of “Thor” actor Chris Hemsworth] and I did in the last one,” Damon explained. “And we had a ball, and so [Director Taika Waititi] had us back again to kind of run that joke back and upgrade it a little bit.”

Matt’s comments seem to confirm the suspicions that he and Luke’s “Thor Actor” will be “facing off” against Melissa McCarthy as “Hela Actress” for a scene in the film, and honestly, we are very excited to see the new entertainment features and shows in New Asgard! Per photos from the set, we can see several tourist attractions were added to New Asgard since the events of Avengers: Endgame and we love that the comedic theater troupe will now have regular performances!
