Marvel’s ‘Eternals’ Racks Up Record-Breaking 2 Million View Debut on Disney+

Due to mixed reviews by critics and fans, as well as being one of the first Marvel movies to debut in theaters throughout the COVID pandemic, Marvel Studios’ Eternals had plenty of odds to beat during its theatrical run. Though the film didn’t meet Marvel’s expectations in theaters, the movie may have found new life on Disney+!

In the first five days of availability on Disney+, the star-studded film raked in over 2 million views in households with Disney+ subscriptions, breaking the MCU on Disney+ record previously held by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The surge in viewers has also led many Marvel fans to reevaluate their initial thoughts on the movie with more positive content being shared about Eternals on social media.
