Marvel Studios is reportedly making a sequel to last year’s ‘Eternals’ movie.
During an interview on NBC’s Today show, Patton Oswalt’s tongue may have slipped when he stated an Eternals sequel had already been announced with Chloe Zhao returning as director.
Given where the Eternals movie left off and the importance of characters such as Pip the Troll and Starfox showing up in the post-credits, Eternals 2 would be hardly unsurprising.

As of now, Marvel Studios has not announced any plans for a sequel to the Eternals movie. It was not on the officially announced Phase 5or Phase 6 MCU dockets at San Diego Comic Con.
Disney’s own mega-event D23 is coming up in September, though, and a Marvel panel has been confirmed. Is Kevin Feige planning on announcing Eternals 2 there? Only time will tell!
