There’s been an interesting development with the announcement of upcoming Marvel Studios films. The official Marvel Facebook page in India posted an image of upcoming movie release dates. The surprising addition to the schedule of India’s movie release guide is the reveal of Blade’s premiere date.
It’s the first time an actual date has been made by Disney regarding Blade’s release date. Even though the release date is shown by an international branch of Disney, there is a chance this could be an error. Some are thinking this could have been the initial release date pre-pandemic. However, it does indicate that Blade is still coming to the MCU sooner than we expected.

Though it’s been nearly two years since the film’s announcement by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige at San Diego Comic Con and due to delays from the COVID-19 Pandemic, the reboot has finally resumed production and a director has been chosen! Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli) has been tapped to direct the Blade reboot, with Stacy Osei-Kuffour (Watchmen, Hunters) penning the script for Marvel.
Not many details are known about the new film, or if the events of the first three films will be considered “MCU canon” but with the introduction of the Multiverse the possibilities are endless. Reportedly, the sequel will begin filming in a few months.
