Aerial look at Tron Lightcycle Run Construction from the Magic Kingdom. A ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover gives guests of the Magic Kingdom an aerial view of the new attraction coming soon to Tomorrowland; TRON Lightcycle Run! Though Disney has confirmed that this ride will not be open in time for the 50th Anniversary Celebration, progress can definitely be seen, in the new buildings, walkways, and the dome. The new projected opening date is set for 2022. While the delay is a bit disappointing, it looks like it will be well worth the wait! This attraction will emulate TRON Lightcycle Power Run, which is a semi-enclosed structure that debuted at Shanghai Disneyland when the park opened in 2016.
