The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gaining a new hero next year with the arrival of Moon Knight on Disney+. The six-episode series has been filming for several months in Hungary but, according to one of its crew members, the production team has wrapped up the filming.
Last month, one makeup artist shared a celebratory post on social media and now, another video has surfaced after a span of filming wrapped in Jordan. A crew member shared a video of the wrap gift package they received from Marvel Studios at their Budapest hotel. The majority of filming for the series took place in Budapest and had been filming in Wadi Rum for the past week.
Moon Knight will star Isaac as Marc Spector, a former U.S. Marine with dissociative identity disorder who becomes the conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. The cast is also set to include May Calamawy and Ethan Hawke in currently-unknown roles.

Not much is known about the series at this time, but Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige shared, “It’s been a while since we’ve had an action hero who jumps out of buildings and gets into fights.” Feige also elaborated and hints that the series will add some grit to the MCU and confirmed the series will explore Marc Spector’s mental illness.
