Both Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans are finding humor in the content of the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
In the Disney+ show’s first episode, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) shares a passionate account of why she believes Steve Rogers was never intimate during his tenure as Captain America.
Bruce is seemingly annoyed by a conversation that’s implied they’ve had many times before. But in the episode’s end credits scene, he actually clears the record.
What is hilarious is that Chris Evan wasn’t informed in advance of the joke and found out while watching on premiere day. He offered the following reaction on Twitter and Mark Ruffalo responded in good humor.

Showrunner Jessica Gao told io9 that when the She-Hulk writing team broached the topic, Kevin Feige was not only on onboard with settling the age-old debate but also swooped in to help them settle on the details.
“Kevin was really into that joke and he actually was the one who volunteered the answer to that question,” she said. “I couldn’t believe that we got to definitively settle that issue once and for all.”
