Marc Webb to Direct R.L. Stine’s ‘Just Beyond’ Disney+ Series. Disney+ is gearing up for new content and has ordered 8-episodes for a series based off R.L. Stine’s Just Beyond novels. Director Marc Webb has just signed on to the Disney+ original series, which has been penned by writer Seth Grahame-Smith (Dark Shadows, The LEGO Batman Movie, The Saint).

The famed Goosebumps author is very excited about the project and is looking forward to working with Disney once again. “Back in the day, we had a Goosebumps HorrorLand attraction at Walt Disney World,” said Stine. “It was one of the thrills of my life. Now I’m thrilled to be back with Disney for the TV series based on my graphic novels. Writing “Just Beyond” for BOOM! Studios has been a joy from the beginning, and I’m so happy to have the wonderful screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith bring the series to life on Disney Plus. How lucky can I be?”
