Some wishes are so magical that stay with you forever. And what better place to make your wish come true then Walt Disney World!
Disney has been partnering with Make-A-Wish since 1981 changing the lives of kids with critical illnesses by building strength, uplifting their spirits and encouraging them to believe that the impossible can be possible.
Recently, 9 year old Grant, got his wish of meet Woody come true at Walt Disney World.
During a trip to Disney, Grant fell in love with a very colorful show, the Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party and we can’t blame him, this show makes you want to get up and dance every single time. But there was an specific part of the parade that stuck with him the most and that was Woody!!
He loved the parade and Woody so much that when he was back home all he wanted to do was to watch the show over and over again, so his wish was to meet Woody and have a dance party with him and the Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party crew!
Thanks to Make-A-Wish and Disney, Grant got his wish granted at Magic Kingdom Park and was able to have an amazing time along with his family that joined in on the fun creating a memory that will last forever.
But that’s not all! Woody himself had a little extra surprise for Grant, he gave him his own Woody plush so he could remember that he will always have a friend in him.
“When a wish is granted a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. This is why wishes matter.” – Make A Wish.
