Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is on the horizon and just days before the celebration a fan-favorite sweet shop in the Magic Kingdom will be opening just in time!

The Main Street Confectionery is set to reopen on Wednesday, September 29th, just 2 days before the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration on October 1st!
The Confectionery closed back on March 29th and eventually moved next door in a temp location while it received a new look, an expanded layout.
The walls around the Main Street Confectionery came down a couple of weeks ago and we thought for sure it would be opening that week.

It looks like we have to wait one more week to get those Disney Treats… While the website says September 29th if I was a betting man I think we will see a soft opening either on Monday or Tuesday.
I know we can’t wait to see the updated look and some special surprises Disney has in store for us at the Main Street Confectionery!
