Magicband+ is now available at the Disney World Theme Parks

Magicband+ officially rolls out today and guests are lining up to purchase their very own designs. Earlier today we shared the news that Magicband+ was available on the Disney World website and My Disney Experience App for guests with Disney World Hotel Stays or Annual Passholders.

For those pre-ordering online the solid color MagicBand+ is usually $34.99 but the pre-order price is $24.99. Graphic MagicBand+ is usually $44.99 but the pre-order price is $34.99.

While at Hollywood Studios today we dropped by to check out some of the new Magicband+ designs. Many people are wanting to try the NEW Batuu Bounty Hunter Game in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, ourselves included!

In the “Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters” experience, guests can join the Batuu Bounty Hunters’ Guild in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Using their MagicBand+ to find numerous virtual bounties hidden throughout Black Spire Outpost, guests will follow the band’s light patterns and haptics to complete their mission.

Then they will return to the local guild master, who will reward them with galactic credits. Guests can also use the Play Disney Parks mobile app to help them reveal their virtual bounty using the app’s built-in augmented reality thermal viewer.

Magicband+ sales were steady but not crazy. If you pick up your Magicband+ in the Disney World theme parks you are going to be paying the full retail price, 34.99 for solid color and 44.99 for graphic Magicbands.
